QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Nov 2, 2006 -> 03:30 PM) Quick question, where can I go to get the original episodes or would it be okay if I started watching from this point forward (I assume this is one of those shows where you need to see the episodes though). If you're business class like me, you do itunes... 1.99 an episode. I think it's worth it because I don't have cable. so what's 10 bucks a month for a great show?

QUOTE(Soxy @ Nov 2, 2006 -> 11:11 AM) 10 Questions for the new Bishop. I've read some interviews with her and she seems very intelligent (she also has a PhD in oceanography) and I'm really excited to hear her sermons and see where she takes the church. I'm guessing a lot of time will be spent preaching on Jonah's interactions with sealife..... that's the closest thing I've got to a "rimshot." I work with what they give me.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Nov 2, 2006 -> 11:24 AM) Why am I suddenly reminded of Kim Jung Il's dud nuclear test? why are you thinking about what's in my pants?

QUOTE(Texsox @ Nov 2, 2006 -> 08:18 AM) This is going to feel like a Republican budget plan. Here's the best plan. You have sex with Jim and pay him $5, he turns around and pays Mrs. PA $5 to have sex with her. You both could have all the sex you want, the budget will balance, you've helped education, and perhaps found some WMD. in all fairness.... the WMD was found.... IN MY PANTS!

QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Nov 2, 2006 -> 07:34 AM) I've watched that, and I can't laugh. It's just so freaking sad. The sad part is that the kid realizes how badly he's doing about a minute into it, and that makes him screw up even more. and then he mouths something like "I can't do this..." or "I suck.." poor guy, lol...

For what it's worth to the conversation.... I didn't graduate college yet and I didn't serve in Iraq I have a friend who did reserves but never finished college and served in Iraq I have a friend who graduated with honors from U of Maryland with a poly sci degree and joined the army and served in Iraq. I have a friend who is serving now and when he comes home will finish school with the money he earned. There are a million different reasons to join the military... is "I have no other choice" one of them? yes.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Nov 2, 2006 -> 12:06 AM) There's your honeymoon idea. Go to Florida and have sex with Jim 500 times. why was that in green? QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Nov 2, 2006 -> 12:14 AM) Somebody better have a bottle of those little blue pills handy. ....the same reason THAT wasn't I kill myself.

QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ Nov 1, 2006 -> 08:54 PM) How did Claire ever make the cheer team being as clumsy as she is? Once again...this is odessa, Tx.... See Friday Night Lights if you need some frame of reference. 1) She's hot 2) There's nothing else for her to do in Odessa, Tx.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Nov 1, 2006 -> 02:24 PM) Remember kids, stay in school, get your PhD, and you too can eat like Popeye and have sex with him for $5.... I don't know I just felt like running way over the line, for funsies.

QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Nov 1, 2006 -> 11:54 AM) PA: Send me a PM if you want to go on a cruise. Once you get an idea fleshed out, I'll cut you a sweetass deal. I knew that didn't say "I'll cut your sweetass a deal" just had to read it again

QUOTE(CanOfCorn @ Nov 1, 2006 -> 10:53 AM) Um...i don't know what you did on your honeymoon, but Me and Mrs. Can spent A LOT of time in the room... Seriously, though, Steff is right...research is the name of the game. I went to Disneyworld the first time around...and had an absolute blast (looking back, I wish I woulda left the first Mrs. Can there in the Haunted Mansion). I have friends who did the Sandals thing in St. Lucia and LOVED it. I don't know how much it cost, but everything is included except airfare and you can go to the other Sandals in St. Lucia and get the same deal. Good luck and congrats. When's the big day? The big day is June 24, 2007. Cancun will run 2000-2500 Any Sandals resort will cost 3000+ Disney is a possibility...but as you alluded to above...I don't know if we're going to really want to go somewhere we have to feel pressured in seeing the sights and sounds. I'm there to see miss PA's sights and sounds, and as Texsox subtley said....I'm going to thank God as often as I can that she's there with me...on her own accord

I didn't see another thread for this...well, i didn't search either...so. I'm really into the show so far (2 episodes...watching the other 3 today). My only editorialization is that I think the creators of this show missed something that anyone who has spent a week in Texas knows about West Texas.... A) the people of Odessa, TX suddenly became really attractive (it's cow and oil country folks) b ) the dad of the cheerleader seems to "get around" in the traveling sense way too well for living in the middle of literally nowhere. ok, back to the show. ok....a few more things: 1) I hate the indian guy's accent. It sounds completely forced. 2) The show is called "Heroes"...and you can't have heroes with out villians 3) aside from the Dad of the cheerleader who clearly is villian #1 4) The girl he meets in the apartment complex is going to be villian #2 (I think...she's way to suspicious)

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Nov 1, 2006 -> 10:06 AM) I saved my great-grandparents antique dining room table and buffet from being sold off by my aunt after it has unbeknownst to the rest of us, sat in an unclimate controled storage unit for two years The only reason I found out about it was I called to invite them to Madison's first birthday party this weekend, and she just happen to casually ask if I knew someone interested in it. I am glad I was there in person, or someone would have gotten choked. Both pieces are just beautiful piece of furnature and I can't wait until they get put back together again and in my dining room. and happy halloween to you as well!

We're also thinking condo in Harbor Island, SC. Looks fun, cheap, and relaxing.

QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Oct 31, 2006 -> 10:05 PM) Lets say you had $2500 (yeah steff, only $2500 ) Where would you go? And what would you do? So here's what I think: 1 Week in Cancun at a 4 Star Resort. Luxury Suite with Private Oversized Balcony overlooking the beach. Horse Back Riding for a couple hours on the beach one day. Tour of Chichen Itza another day. Lots of eating out for dinner. Overall a fun trip that is adventurous as well as a chance to get away.
