QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Oct 31, 2006 -> 04:45 PM) Naw, it's gotta be National Review for the boobs. Frum, Lowry, Luskin, and all those fellas from Heritage Foundation and the American Enterprise Institute. . . Now, that's a lot of boobs. I work with what I'm given

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Oct 31, 2006 -> 04:14 PM) I saw that True Life. It was insane watching him train for these contests, and he's ripped too. I'm sure he has to hit the gym...otherwise Sumo Wrestling would take him away from eating contests.

QUOTE(maggliopipe @ Oct 31, 2006 -> 10:21 AM) Playboy and The Economist, but there are only so many pooping hours in a week. Let me guess.... Playboy for the articles and The Economist for the "boobs".... hahahahha.....haha...ha....ahem.

QUOTE(tonyho7476 @ Oct 31, 2006 -> 12:39 PM) I say have lots of sex. this is a really, really good idea.... Unfortunately, I prescribe to following my Judeo-Christian values. I do have plenty of time to plan honeymoon stuff and take 5 cold showers each day. That's a plus.

QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Oct 31, 2006 -> 11:46 AM) Neither have I. I'm also not a registered voter. I don't know if that makes a difference or not but I've heard it does. voter registration is the #1 way to get jury duty...#2 is living in the same place for an extended period of time. i was called once when I was 18, and I've moved 4 times in the last 8 years and haven't been called since.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Oct 31, 2006 -> 11:14 AM) I have never been called to Jury Duty. True Story. Hooray Convicted Felons!

Miss PA's mom seems to get chosen every 12-18 months. She seriously keeps all of her "juror" pins and there are like 10 hanging up.

QUOTE(CrimsonWeltall @ Oct 30, 2006 -> 07:37 PM) Why bother with all the work of dealing drugs? 1) Go to your bank 2) Have the teller give you a friggin ton of money 3) Have the teller then deposit all that money into the joint account of you and your wife 4) Die in gunfight with cops You can't be convicted of bank robbery if you're dead. Your wife is rich. unfortunately tellers don't have that much money. What I would do is get a teller on the inside to find the top 10 richest bank customers and then fill out transfer slips into a joint account.....Then die in a gun fight with the cops. you could easily land 2-3 millions just like that........for your wife. Of course all of that is for speculative purposes and nothing i would advocate.

QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Oct 30, 2006 -> 06:22 PM) Internal Dem polls (grain of salt) show Ford beginning to open a lead in TN too. Democrats will win NJ, although it will be a lot closer than most people might think here. Right now it looks like the following seats could swing blue from red in order of possibility.... PA, OH, RI, MT, VA, TN.... AZ. Arizona Senate polls are quickly creeping back within the margin of error. That can't be a good sign for John Kyl. He'll probably win the race - but still the possibility is there for an 8 seat pickup! As of today, we're looking at 5 seats. Not enough to get a change in Senate leadership. PS: Here's what I see more likely than Lieberman bolting to the red side of the aisle. Lieberman taking a cabinet post. This enables Republican governor Jodi Rell to replace Lieberman with a Republican senator through 2008. PA's race is pretty scary. I don't know who the hell to vote for.

QUOTE(longshot7 @ Oct 30, 2006 -> 04:14 PM) I'm not a fan of Tom Waits' stuff, but I respect the hell out of him. That said, let me shill my band's myspace page. We're LA-based and called ROCKPAPERSCISSORS. myspace.com/rpsmusic I'm guessing you're Kjell? I actually kinda enjoyed "Wanna Make Out" thanks man. Good Song.

QUOTE(BobDylan @ Oct 29, 2006 -> 05:44 PM) Maybe you've just got s***ty taste. http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/reco...e_Bright_Lights Pitchforkmedia is the single worst music site on the internet. Those yahoos wouldn't know their asshole from a hole in the ground. I've downloaded TONS of their "best of the year" stuff and 99% of it sucks.... Deefhoof animal collective bloc party clap your hands say yeah Wolf Parade the only bands I remotely liked when I took pitchcrap's advice were: sage francis/ non-prophets danielson the wrens My stinky crap > pitchforkmedia

QUOTE(EvilMonkey @ Oct 29, 2006 -> 05:42 PM) I had 3 Fords, all were fine. The Ranger I had was only for about 13 months, due to the arrival of my second kid and needing a back seat, but the other 2 were fine. I had a 95 Tbird that I put 150,000 miles on before I traded in my bigV8 for something with better gas milage. Also had rented Tauruses before, once for a month, and thought they drove nice. My biggest lemon vehicle was a Montero Sport. Once I hit 60,000, youname it, it broke. Plus, cost a fortune to fix, since you had to take apart half the damn engine just to get to anything. I got 135, 000 out of a base model 1992 Cavelier, 120,000 out of a 1993 Sunbird, 99,000 from my 1988 Daytona, 130,000 total from my 1996 Stratus (65,000 from me, the restfrom my sister I sold it to), 85,000 on my Dakota for work until an accident prematurly ended its life and have about 60,000 on the PT Cruiser that replaced it. Lemons are everywhere, not just limited to American brands. 95 Tbird that I put 150,000 miles Montero Sport. Once I hit 60,000 135, 000 out of a base model 1992 Cavelier 120,000 out of a 1993 Sunbird 99,000 from my 1988 Daytona 60,000 on the PT Cruiser To achieve that many miles, you're either are 97 years old.... or drive a 16-wheeler with the wrong rig

well, day one (technically day 4) is going great. I have so much to do this week. I'm glad they paid for my time off The important thing to stress is that I understand their motives for letting me go early. I'm going from one financial institution to another and they don't want me taking info with me that could lure clients away. So I'm a victim of policy..... Boo low paying former jobs... Hooray policy!

QUOTE(Texsox @ Oct 29, 2006 -> 05:02 PM) So wrong again my friend. It is the greatest time and if you sit a spell, I'll tell you why. Unless of course your musical taste are in line with 98% of the population, then it's as good a time as any. And if your taste isn't in line with 98% of the population, it is the finest time ever on this planet to be a fan. With the internet, you can experience bands of all sizes, those with contracts and those without. Bands that want a big audience but not finding it, and bands that are fine with just making music for their mom's and girlfriends. That has never been the case in the history of mankind. If I'm in the mood for some Icelandic atmosphere, I am a couple mouse clicks away, Some 8-bit garage music by some 14-year old with an idea, a couple mouse clicks away. Terrible time? Nope, the only thing terrible is how much is out there and so little time to explore. unfortunately I can't get my 40 minutes back that i wasted on Interpol's first album... So pardon my extreme generalizations about s***ty music. "it's automatic when I Talk with old friends The conversation turns to Girls we knew when their Hair was soft and long and the Beach was the place to go Suntanned bodies and Waves of sunshine the California girls and a Beautiful coastline Warmed up weather Let's get together and Do it again"

QUOTE(Steff @ Oct 27, 2006 -> 09:56 AM) Oh lovely. 3 people in my office have strep - and being the troopers they are came to work versus staying home as they were told to do - and I have had an earache for 2 days now. strange that you're the one with an earache .... I would have suspected the scenario to be slightly different (steff talks a lot............. )

QUOTE(The Critic @ Oct 29, 2006 -> 10:37 AM) Finally saw The Departed last night. Enjoyed it immensely. Can't wait to watch it a bunch more times on DVD. I recommend watching the Chinese version as well. "Infernal Affairs" A lot of the scenes from "The Departed" come straight from IA. The movie actually makes more sense in Chinese as well, from a story aspect. I don't speak Chinese, so I had no clue otherwise
