  1. I think a day off is just what the Doctor ordered. Go get them Kittys tomorrow Gavin
  2. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 3, 2008 -> 02:09 PM) Chris Getz has been playing 3rd for Charlotte. Colina has been playing 3rd base since Josh was called up. Royce Huffman is playing there tonight. Chris has played mostly 2nd and some SS and left field. He doesn't seem to have the arm for SS or 3rd base. I wouldn't be in any hurry to trade Josh with Crede's back. Joe was scratched last night when he felt something during warm-ups and he's not in the line-up tonight either.
  3. QUOTE (SoxFan101 @ Aug 3, 2008 -> 03:57 AM) Also first time i posted a game thread Hopefully you're Good Luck and Hopefully Richard pitches soo good that we never see Contreras again
  4. Knights lose 8-2 Whisler 7 runs 3ER No Crede Jose pitches tomorrow
  5. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Aug 1, 2008 -> 09:34 PM) #29 I must of hit the wrong key Jon Adkins (remember him?) got the save #20 MacDougal got his 3rd blown save and the Knights lose
  6. Knights losing 7-5 in the 9th Eldred HR #28 and 81 RBIs now Chris Getz HR #10 Crede out of the game now
  7. I wish there was an option " I would of been real excited if this trade happened 10 years ago"
  8. I hate the Twins Batting around and finally out of the inning
  9. I got to see Rob Mackowiak play for the Louisville Bats last week. Ehren Wassermann walked him intentionally with 1st base open. I was hoping to see Jon Adkins (18 saves) pitch.
  10. I live in a small town and National City is the only bank in town. I have a savings account there, but I glad my checking account is with a Credit Union. Isn't a certain Cubbie God their spokesman
  11. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jul 28, 2008 -> 04:48 PM) Eldred: 2-4, 3 run HR, provided all the run production Eldred 28 HRs and 78 RBIs even after missing a month
  12. QUOTE (WSoxMatt @ Jul 28, 2008 -> 03:43 PM) The series opens with a tough pitching matchup for the Twins. Kevin Slowey is 0-2 with a 12.38 ERA in two starts against the White Sox this year. Mark Buehrle is 21-11 for his career against the Twins and is 6-2 with a 1.76 ERA in his past nine starts overall. Mark is also 10-5 at the Rollerdome
  13. QUOTE (Capn12 @ Jul 27, 2008 -> 01:11 PM) A Konerko hit? Am I in the Twilight Zone? Even a Blind Squirrel gets lucky and finds a nut every once in a while
  14. QUOTE (Jimbo's Drinker @ Jul 27, 2008 -> 01:07 PM) Paulie homred, wouldnt that be nice It be nice if he walked
  15. QUOTE (Frankensteiner @ Jul 27, 2008 -> 12:58 PM) Where are all these people who were claiming Vazquez was our best pitcher just a month ago. He was our best pitcher at the end of last year when the games didn't mean anything
  16. I wonder if Ozzie is going with his Sunday line-up? If so, does that mean Konerko gets to play Go Javy
  17. QUOTE (JPN366 @ Jul 27, 2008 -> 03:41 AM) His bereavement leave was back in June. He's played in every Warthog game for about 5 or 6 weeks straight. I think you guys are confusing him with Jose Martinez or Jerry Owens. Jerry actually played last night. He went 0-3 with a walk
  18. Hopefully Verlander is throwing beach balls tonight
  19. QUOTE (Chet Lemon @ Jul 26, 2008 -> 07:13 AM) If Linebrink is DL'd and nobody is immediately brought in via trade, then I would like to see Childers get a shot, at least temporarily. I know his track record has not been good, but it is hard to argue against a 0.74 WHIP over 43.1 IP. He'd be my pick. Look how well Wise has done since given a chance, was he on the 40 man roster? Jason has an ERA of 1.25, 10 BB and 38Ks.
