  1. QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jun 28, 2009 -> 04:01 PM) This made my weekend.
  2. I got to see him play once for Birmingham about 5 years ago and he reminded me of A-Rod. Little did I know he and A-Roid had more in common then just being big tall shortstops
  3. This game was "Peaks and Valleys". 1 minute I'm Peaking, the next I'm in the Valley. I was in the Valley every time Joe Buck kept telling us all of the negative stats: Jenks 0-1 with an era over 6 in none save situations, Sox pitch-hitters 2-44 with no RBIs this season, Sox batters batting .222 at home this year, ect, ect.
  4. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Jun 26, 2009 -> 01:21 AM) Been a couple of years since I did one of these but here we go; Charlotte lost 7-0 to Louisville. Whisler started, 5IP, 5R, 4ER, 3BB's and 3K's. Omorgrosso gave up 2ER in 2IP raising his ERA to 15.43. Lillibridge 2 for 3 with a BB raising his AVG to .216, Allen 0 for 4 with a K, Lucy 0 for 4 with 2K's. Lillibridge is tearing it up in Charlotte At least his average is higher than it was whne he was on the Sox
  5. QUOTE (Pods70Rowand33 @ Jun 26, 2009 -> 07:40 AM) I was going to go to yesterdays game with my friend, but then saw tickets were going to cost me 50 bucks roughly after fees and everything. So I decided to not go. I too, was going to go to yesterdays game until I realized I was going to have to pay "jacked - up" prices to sit in in the heat.
  6. D-Lee better watch out BA kicked Mabery's Ass 3 years ago
  7. Dempster is npt going to make it out of this inning
  8. Well at least we've seen Galarraga before Go Sox
  9. QUOTE (joesaiditstrue @ Jun 7, 2009 -> 10:26 AM) it's amazing how different the weather can be between where i'm at (peoria area), and up near chicago yesterday it was around 50'F at gametime, it was 82'F here I went to a Railcats game yesterday and it was 81 degrees where I live and 58 degrees in Gary. Go Sox
  10. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 5, 2009 -> 10:03 PM) I'd love to see a study on Sox newcomer debuts. It'd prove once and for all if Sox newcomers suck out of the gate before producing. Robin Ventura was 0-40 something out of the gate
  11. QUOTE (robinventura23 @ Jun 5, 2009 -> 09:23 PM) Bonderman will be back to pitch in one of the games of the DH on Monday. First game since June 1, 2008. Predictions? I hope he pitches against Jose. Maybe we could have a Softball score. Tigers 23 Sox 13
  12. The way we're playing Jenks may never get a Save situation again
  13. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Jun 5, 2009 -> 03:04 PM) did we really lose 3 of 4 to OAK? A 5-1 road trip and then we lose 3 of 4 to the worst team in the AL Well at least we've seen Pavano before.
  14. 12 in arow retired by Cahill. This guy looks like Cy Young
  15. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jun 1, 2009 -> 07:13 PM) Dude, he just struck out, he sucks. What a waste. His average is down to .500 now
  16. QUOTE (Kalapse @ May 30, 2009 -> 08:32 PM) he's looking for the redeemer here. And He just got it
  17. QUOTE (shipps @ May 25, 2009 -> 07:58 PM) having a mild case of the mid life crisis there big Jim? You'll be there some day too
  18. QUOTE (The Critic @ May 24, 2009 -> 10:52 PM) Here's how this happened: I was a kid in the 70's. The Hawks were NEVER on TV other than road games, the Red Wings were always on the Saturday afternoon Game Of The Week, I liked the team and the uniform, and there ya go. The Hawks/Wings thing didn't seem as retarded as it is now, and maybe that's because the Hawks were "only" a decade removed from their last Cup, not the 40+ years they are now. So maybe the Hawk fans back then weren't as jealous of Detroit's success as they are now. Man you're old. I bet you had a Darcy Rota Jersey
  19. QUOTE (shipps @ May 25, 2009 -> 07:50 AM) hey Soxy is 27 the same age as me Hey Soxy is the same age as me too
