Without losing McCarthy, I'd do this trade.

I'd trust Thornton in a save opportunity like today, when Jenks has been struggling of late and had pitched twice in a row.

I wouldn't mind Pods and Garcia for Crisp, and then Mac in the rotation. I doubt that it'll happen, though.

You know, I hate it when people stretch out comparisons that don't work when looked at closely. McCarthy has never served as closer, and never will. I'm sure the rest of those comparisons, too, will fade when looked at closer.
