    T-Shirt Idea

Thanks for the help, I guess my next question would be since I suck at art, where could I find someone to put my idea together, so that I could submit it to somewhere like cafe press?
  5. QUOTE (GreatScott82 @ Aug 14, 2009 -> 01:05 PM) Jakey-Jakey first made a mistakey He came to his senses A good rotation is now stellar. Haiku (俳句, haikai verse?), plural haiku, is a form of Japanese poetry, consisting of 17 moras (or on), in three metrical phrases of 5, 7, and 5 moras respectively.[1] Haiku typically contain a kigo, or seasonal reference, and a kireji or verbal caesura. In Japanese, haiku are traditionally printed in a single vertical line, while haiku in English usually appear in three lines, to parallel the three metrical phrases of Japanese haiku.[2] Previously called hokku, haiku was given its current name by the Japanese writer Masaoka Shiki at the end of the 19th century.

    T-Shirt Idea

So if I wanted to make money off this I'd basically have to make the shirts and sell them myself? The idea would be the type of shirt you see when you are walking down Clark on the way to a Cubs game or through the parking lots at US Cellular.

    T-Shirt Idea

Hey everyone, I have this idea for a Sox/Cubs T-Shirt and was wondering if anyone knows where I would even start in getting the idea develped and turned into actual shirts that would sell? Thanks
  9. I gotta say Hawk for the fact that he says and expresses all the feelings I have while watching games. I'll also say that Joe Cowley is a real douch bag. Signed up for his Tweets and he seems like one of those guys that thinks he's funny, clever, etc. but really he is just annoying......any other good Sox Twitters people let me know.
  10. If you are looking for the "Bank One Ampitheatre", good luck you are never going to find it. It's the First Midwest Bank Amptitheatre........not sure about the tailgating though.
  11. I don't get CSN+, anyone know where I can watch the game online without paying?
  12. Forget touchdowns and kills, filling up the highlight reel with Derrick Rose on 2K9 is what occupies all my time. 2K9 is ridiculous, especially the ability Rose has on the game.

    Tipping

Here's one for everyone............tipping bartenders When Im out, I can easily drink 15-20 beers and usually feel comfortable with a dollar tip everytime I order a drink. That just seems high to me though. With the cost of a beer varying, its tough to know what to tip.
  14. QUOTE (Controlled Chaos @ Nov 26, 2008 -> 09:20 AM) False. The person below me spells "supposed to" like "suppose to" False. The person below me can't wait to get off work and get wasted on the biggest drinking night of the year.
  15. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 25, 2008 -> 02:36 PM) As far as NBA 2k9, I have it for my 360, and played it on a PS3, and it wasn't even close... it looks way better on 360. That's what I keep telling myself and it's pissin me off that my favorite game looks like a@@ on a new PS3 that I spent good money on. Any idea why the two are so diff? What happened to the PS3 catching and passing the 360 when it comes to graphics?
  16. So after having my 2nd Xbox break this past week, I decided to go and get me a PS3. I had NBA 2k9 for 360 and picked it up for the PS3 and noticed right off the bat the graphics are better in the 360. Also bought call of duty modern warfare and those graphics are pretty good, don't really have the 360 version to compare. The whole graphics thing is really bothering me so I've been doing some research and am wondering other people heres opinion. 1. In general, are the graphics for all sports games better for the 360? 2. Ive read a lot about the graphics for PS3 not reaching potential yet. Have they gotton better since the PS3 came out? Which overall has the best grpahics for video games?

    XBox360

Need help here everyone........... Back in May my 360 went out with the dreaded red lights so I sent it in and they replaced with what was most likely a refurbished one. Well just last week, this one decided that it will no longer read games, DVD's. The system tries, but can't even get the disc going. I don't get the "disk read error" message, it just switiches to "open tray" on the home screen. So I called Microsoft last night only to find out it's out of warranty and I have to pay for repairs. 1. Anyone else had same thing happen 2. Any options besides sending in to Microsoft for repair 3. How much is this repair Thanks for the help!

  20. Hawk praising someone constantly makes them a decent pitcher.............interesting.
  21. QUOTE (knightni @ Nov 5, 2008 -> 09:13 PM) Most MLB guys are Republicans because of their tax bracket. This is a pretty dumb statement.........How do you know? Do you talk to all the players and have thier political opinions? That's like saying all hollywood celebrities are Republicans because of their tax bracket, which obviously isn't true based on them often sharing their opinions publically.
  22. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Nov 5, 2008 -> 10:42 PM) I love when people call LeBron and Kobe cocky. They are the two best players in the world, they have every right in the world to be as cocky as they choose. And the Bulls half court offense is pathetic right now. I wonder if Vinny put ANY half court sets in during training camp. Yea, he is the best but with all his little cocky actions he just looks like an ass. Kobe has learned and cut a lot of the B.S.
  23. LeBron needs to lose the cocky attitude, makes him look like an immature ass.
  24. QUOTE (Texsox @ Nov 5, 2008 -> 08:59 AM) I had a strange moment last night as I watched Obama walk onto the stage in Grant Park (via TV). For a moment I thought we had elected, for the first time in my life, someone younger than myself as President. Turns out he is about three weeks older than me, so I've avoided that milestone. I am such a slacker. B) It may sound funny, but that has triggered a "what have I done with my life?" moment. I wonder how Obama's victory will make small changes in a lot of people. Certainly many, many, Americans will find hope that anything is possible in America. My son commented that Obama has accomplished the greatest feat ever for a black man. I struggled to think of anyone to really compare him to on that scale. I don't think it should have taken this for many Americans to have hope that anything is possible here. I have always carried the hope that is the case here in America and I spent 6 years in the Army, which made me appreciate America so much more. His victory wasn't really a surprise, at all.
