  1. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jan 17, 2011 -> 02:20 PM) It might be the homer in me but I like our chances against GB...Rodgers, as good as he is, will not have a game like he did against ATL, it's just not possible taking into consideration that the weather will be cold and windy, the field will be crappy (recievers slipping) and our pass rush is really good. Did you not watch the Patriots come into Chicago on the worst day weather wise of the year and dominate on offense? To say it's not possible is silly, it is very possible.

    Suits

I buy all of mine from MW, as someone else said, try to stay away from their cheap ones. You should be able to get 2 nice ones for $500. I actually do receommend having them tailor the suits, anytime I've had em done elsewhere, they have been screwed up. They also will sew any rips that might occur over time around the pockets, etc. Also as someone mentioned, be careful with the ties. I was in a training video at work and we had professional videographers here, I had to change my tie so that it didn't look funny on camera. I'm in Commercial Banking , and I wish this industry would give up the whole suit thing. It does get old.
  3. There are a ton of variables here as Chet said, my advice would be to do salary research for the industry and job you have, specific to your geographic area. My employer just conducted the research on their own, and bumped those at my level up another level to keep us competitive within the market. Have you thought of the possibility they would want someone to jump from level one to "senior analyst" so they don't have to pay the typical "senior anaylst" salary?
  4. Unil Joakim Noah returns...........
  5. I served on active duty with the US Army infantry, and can't tell you the minute a guy in the unit opens up and says he is gay, his life will not be the same within that unit. Best of luck to him, but he would have been better of not being asked, nor telling. Now if her were a clerk, or had a desk job, I can't say much about that. But in an infantry unit, it's a different group of people and people get beatdowns behind closed doors with lights off for many reasons.....often times so they will quit or leave the unit. Im just sayin............
  6. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Dec 6, 2010 -> 08:47 PM) My buddy sent me a text quoting KW as saying: "I'm more optimistic about everything then you are about us. And it doesn't matter what answer I give you, you're going to take the worst, most pessimistic road, so again, I'm not going to waste my time on you." Dang, that's a bit harsh...although it is true for the most part.
  7. Anyone hear KW snapping on Phil Rogers earlier? I guess they played it on B&B, I'd like to know what he said.
  8. He's on B&B right now, this guy is awesome, great personality.
  9. GingerKid and iPhat.........your posts have me laughing my a@@ off!
  10. I wish the Bulls had Boston in Chicago on Friday, this is the 2nd time they will have played in Boston already this year. I expect them to win at least one vs. the Celts and Magic.
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 1, 2010 -> 01:52 PM) If he plays 20-25 minutes I heard Thibs talking yesterday saying when he is back he'll be in the starting lineup and there is no reason to work him in slowly.
  12. QUOTE (bigruss22 @ Nov 1, 2010 -> 12:07 PM) I took his comment as Taj being the most improved and should be starting.... I'm not saying he is the most improved, however based on the expectations for Noah and Rose and their ceilings, I personally am quite impressed with how much Taj seems to have improved....although most imrpovement I'd probably have to give to Rose at this point, primarily due to his agressiveness and leadership he has displayed.
  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 1, 2010 -> 12:03 PM) You haven't been watching the same thing I have, because Asik has a long way to go. You can see flashes of why the Bulls like him, but to me he looks like a high school or one year college draftee. I'm not at all impressed with his fundamentals. That will change with time, but he has a ways to go for sure. Taj is ready today. No, I have been watching the same thing you have, and I agree with you, which is why in my post I said to Quinarvy that saying Asik should start over Gibson is nonsense.
  14. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Oct 30, 2010 -> 09:36 PM) Next game's starting lineup should be: Rose Johnson Deng (only because if he was benched, he'd be even more immovable) Asik Noah You obviously haven't been watching the games to say that Asik should be starting over Taj Gibson.......of all the players so far in the two games, I've been most impressed with his improvement........
  15. This is crazy, I'm getting married this Saturday and have a million things to do, but the only thing on my mind has been NBA free agency, all weekend, non-stop. It's really starting to drive me nuts, but there isn't much I can do........thank God I'll be on a honeymoon all next week.
  16. I hate Luol Deng, and his contract. It is going to be extremely painful watching him play next season, and to know not moving him might be the reason we end up shut out here.
  17. QUOTE (sircaffey @ Jul 1, 2010 -> 12:28 PM) Nobody ever really mentions the 23 to 6 number change for LBJ. Given that you're required to give the league one year notice, that's awfully coincidental. I believe LeBron is coming to the Chicago, however Miami does have the number 23 retired as well, so I don't take much stock in the whole number change thing.
  18. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Jun 14, 2010 -> 05:06 PM) My cousin used the Pirates of the Caribbean theme the Sox were using the past several years (not sure if they are this year), is that the one you meant? Yes, I figured someone on here would have an audio file of it.
  19. I'd like to use either the White Sox or Bulls intro music for the introductions and entrance at my wedding reception next month. I was wondering if anyone could provide the audio files of each for me? For the white sox version, I would use everything up to the Thunderstruck song. Thanks
  20. Just heard on the Score, they quoted Sun-Times and Tribune tweets.........Zambrano being moved to bullpen.
  21. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Apr 21, 2010 -> 12:30 PM) I officially un-followed Ozzie yesterday as I do not speak Spanish and the bulls*** that he does tweet in English is in no way interesting. Yet, here you are reading the Ozzie Twitter thread.....
  22. "Comcast is now saying they came to my house. They suck. Its not free they r not the only cable company." Considering Comcast carries most of the games........ouch!

    MLB 10: The Show

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Mar 12, 2010 -> 11:47 AM) No chance I am going to ruin my shot at being with the White Sox. Anyway, the season ended, we won the AA championship, and in the offseason they offfered me a 2-year deal for AAA, so it's alll good now. Have you been simulating a portion of the season? I'm getting really tired of the loading between career events.
  24. QUOTE (chw42 @ Mar 9, 2010 -> 12:28 PM) Wow, that's a HUGE blow. Looks like that bullpen might be a bit crazy. This is our opening. Where can I find that original pic of Q??? That had me LMAO!

    MLB 10: The Show

QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Mar 9, 2010 -> 10:33 AM) Good tips. I shall try when I get home Try to figure out which fastball the pitcher likes to throw more often, the 2 seam or 4 seam. Then make that the one you regularly guess on. At the very least, this method helps to get the pitch count up as it provides a bit more discipline, which most games I played I had the opposing pitcher going for complete games. Now, If I can only get pitching down.......
