I thought it was great when Hawk was telling DJ about him going to lots of Highschool games in FL, and DJ responds with "you can't be going to game, people will be coming up to you yelling HAWK! HAWK!" ahh classic.

i love the fact that hes sippin on some Yankee Kool-Aid by saying "The Yankees — owners of the best offense in the game ", im sorry but the best offense in the game has to goto the Blue(Black) Jays. Dayn Perry = Douche Bag and on a related Blue Jay note: Vernon Wells struck out 4 times tonight and went 0-4, first time in his career and against none other than the Florida Marlins Scott Olsen.

Riske > Cliff, Montero & Tracey all though i still have faith in Tracey coming to the show again. Glad to see Brian picking up some base running cues from Rob and Pablo, and Juan looks to be getting on one of his patented hot streaks. the crowd there was great, good job everyone who was there.

QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Jun 16, 2006 -> 07:11 PM) All I want is .230 from Anderson. /agree I wonder if every day as he gets ready he tells him self "this is opening night" as DJ has pointed out.

I think it would be great to get Miggy *Thread Hijack* but im going to be honest Florida is stacked with pictching prospects and GOOD ones at that, they already have their starting rotation of the future with or with out Willis and their bullpen is stacked!!!! SP L Dontrelle Willis 24 R Josh Johnson 22 R Rickey Nolasco 23 L Scott Olsen 22 + Sergio Mitre/Harvey Garcia/Anibal Sanchez/Yusmeiro Petit BP R Logan Kensing 23 R Randy Messenger 24 L Jason Vargas 22(hes in AAA right now, and i doubt they give him another chance at starting) R Chris Resop 23 (also at AAA) R Carlos Martinez 24 L Taylor Tankersly - Closer 23 They also have Travis Bowyer who is very Jenks-esk in a good way. They have an amazing core of guys. I realize you can never have to much pitching but in the case of the Marlins i think they do. They're looking for blue chip posistion prospects at C and CF. Some Marlins fans feel if Joe Borowski continues to pitch well, someone is going to want him. Some fans think its going to be the reds. They think that they will want both Joe Borowski and Brian Moehler and possibly Sergio Mitre and in exchange the marlins would get Chris Denorfia giving them their CF of the future. infact the Marlins might already have their C of the future in Miguel Olivo, hes only 27 and hes got a cannon for an arm and he is currently batting .273, all though he is a career .235 batter.

I've met bad religion on a number of ocasions, and i've played on the taste of chaos with the used, my chemical romance, underoath, kill switch engage, and senses fail, and i've also played shows with the likes of Saosin and Strung out. I also met Mike Tyson once at LAX.

yeah i've been lurking over at "MB" for awhile now, i just haven't taken the time to sign up, great site over there. Are you a fan of Olivo? i think he might have found it with the marlins he is currently batting .277 and is only 27 years old, if the marlins don't deal Willis do you think Olivo will be they're full time catcher? and if you could, what would you predict the future 07/08 25 man roster to be aside from the rotation, and do you think they will move vargas/mitre to the long relief role in the bullpen if they don't pan out as SP? and maybe vargas to some other posistion seeing how hes got a great bat and also how Anibal Sanchez projects to be a front line starter. And another thing do you think if the marlins will deal the following come the trade deadline: Brian Moehler, Matt Herges and Joe Borowski?

I was just over at www.marlinbaseball.com, keeping tabs on the games most talented up and coming team and i read that the marlins FO turned down a deal with Detroit(Verlander + Granderson) for D-Train, all i can say is WOW!, if they turned that down in the off season, I can only imagine what they might get if they trade him to either the Dodgers/D'Backs because a pitcher is going to define the winner out in the NL west and both teams have extensive farm systems. If they delt with the Dbacks i've read from marlins fans this is what they would be looking to get in return for willis: Chris Young, Miguel Montero, Dustin Nippert As everyone already knows the Marlins are stacked and could be in contention by next year all though unlikely. This is likely the Marlins future rotation provided they don't trade Willis, all i can say is i look forward to seeing what this team can do once its payroll is back around the 60mil area instead of the 15. SP Name Age W-L SO/BB ERA WHIP L Dontrelle Willis 24 3-6 46/29 4.32 1.41 R Josh Johnson 22 5-4 54/26 2.05 1.16 R Rickey Nolasco 23 4-3 36/14 3.33 1.41 L Scott Olsen 22 5-3 50/27 5.10 1.35 *since that incedent with Girardi, hes 3-0 with a 2.18 ERA + Sergio Mitre/Harvey Garcia/Anibal Sanchez/Jason Vargas

I love David Cross and Mitch Hedburg, along with all the others you mentioned. "excuse me do you know if this is the line to get the beer ? or the line to get the tickets to get the beer?" - David Cross hahah classic.
