It would be nice if that reviewer would mention that the entire story is being told by a Spartan warrior. Why would Dilios talk about some sea battle he wasn't a part of? Why is it unreasonable for him to glorify his countrymen and villify his enemies? He also throws in some ridiculous shots about defending eugenics and presenting Xerxes as a homosexual (the kind of homosexual that lives in a tent full of naked women, apparently). He really sounds like he has an axe to grind.

With the exception of 24, I don't ever remember that. Though these long breaks (one month or more) seem relatively recent.

All of the players are on the same team trying to beat the game. It's like D&D in the sense that you have characters with stats and you roll dice to determine success in actions, yes, but otherwise, no.

I like Tactics and 7 the most. 6 and 10 are pretty good. 4, 8, 9, 12 are ok. 1, 2, X2, TacticsAdvanced I dislike. I haven't played 3, 5, 11, Mystic Quest or Crystal Chronicles.
