  1. It's nonsense. http://www.quackwatch.org/01QuackeryRelate...s/candling.html
  2. Much of the gameplay in WoW is so tedious and repetitive that some people find it easier to just pay real dollars to other people to get in-game gold, items, or stronger characters.
  3. Well he was a decent marksman when he was in the marines and even if he wasn't, I don't see how 'conspiracy' would override 'lucky shot'. He just needed 1 good shot out of 3, not 100 headshots in a row.
  4. Why would he have to be an ace shooter?
  5. What violent disobedience did the student engage in? The only thing he was doing for most of the video was NOT standing up, which may or may not have been voluntary depending on how badly he took the taser shots.
  6. You can't really see what is happening at the beginning, so maybe he deserved the first taser, but a guy laying on the floor IN HANDCUFFS is not a threat. Pick him up and drag him out. Tasering him 5 more times is ridiculous.

    PS3

Unless you're able to sell it for a sweet profit, I don't see any reason to get a PS3 at this point.
  9. There ain't no 1.4 million people in SL. It's probably like 300,000. Plenty of MMORPGs have more users than that and have most of the functionality that SL has, plus a lot it doesn't.
  10. Dane Cook mock http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBcAiCiKYtk Dane Cook's best bit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=B2DYCgwoFik
  11. I don't think it would imply it any more than swearing on the Bible implies an official will uphold Judeo-Christian more than the Constitution. The point of the act is to say that you swear to your deity that what you are about to say is true, so if the guy is a Muslim, a Bible would not be appropriate.
  12. Elton John's clothes lack compassion for my eyes
  13. why wouldn't the guy have looked at the dealer's up card?

  15. The "I'm in your ____, _____ your _____" ones are the best ones. STEALIN YOUR DRIVEZ
  16. QUOTE(Texsox @ Nov 9, 2006 -> 12:37 PM) who is more likely to be branded a hypocrite for picking up that porn? Whichever one speaks out more against porn. If Jas doesn't consider viewing porn to be a bad thing, he wouldn't be a hypocrite at all.
  17. You should have made more robocalls Good luck though
  18. Why bother with all the work of dealing drugs? 1) Go to your bank 2) Have the teller give you a friggin ton of money 3) Have the teller then deposit all that money into the joint account of you and your wife 4) Die in gunfight with cops You can't be convicted of bank robbery if you're dead. Your wife is rich.
  19. I would guess that the majority of respondants to that survey (regardless of answer given) couldn't name more than a couple of civil liberties anyway.
  20. "THE" Fair Tax (the fairly new, popular idea) is a large national sales tax that replaces the federal income tax.
  21. The legal system is getting too expensive. We should probably get rid of trial by jury while we're at it. We will save at least ten dollars per juror per day they would have been in court. Think of all the money we could save!
  22. They only require a credit card if you want to BUY their porn. There's no shortage of free and easily accessible pornographic material on the internet. Any kid can find porn in two seconds by using Google. So how is this law protecting children?
  23. How is the ACLU telling you what's good for you or not? They're stepping in to prevent the government from doing so. You also didn't address how poorly written this law is or the fact that it hasn't been enforced even once in 8 years.
  24. The week before the election should be called "Fkin Election Week" and include a significant amount of election coverage. There would be required debates involving more than just the Democratic and Republican candidates and shows where the candidates come on and just state their opinion on a number of issues. Hopefully some networks would pick it up, but at the very least PBS can show it. Obviously people who are very concerned with politics will do their research into the various candidates, but I still feel like a lot of voters are not as informed as they could/should be. It would also give some exposure to third party candidates who don't have the $$$ to run hundreds of tv ads every day. Second, I'd like to try something like Instant Runoff Voting, so people could vote for who they actually like the most without worrying that they have thrown their vote away, rather than the lesser of two D&R evils.
