Capn12

I try to get excited for Madden, I just don't. I'd play it for 2 weeks, and be done, its the same every year. Rainbow Six:Vegas still gets my playtime on the 360

I'm the definitive agnostic myself. I don't believe in the division of religion like it is, but I'm not quite ready to rule out some sort of higher power, just not sure what exactly.

Julio joins Class A Rome Braves Some may not think its a big deal, but to me, a man 10 days away from his 49th birthday, who still plays at any level he can because of the love of the game, is simply amazing. Major props to Julio Franco from me.

Wow, and after almost all the days action is done..>Bobby barely gets the last blip on mlb.com. How sad.

I'm so so torn... Lifelong Packers fan, BUT I'm a South Carolina Gamecock fan first and foremost.... Troy Williamson AND Sidney Rice both now play for the Vikings, a hated Packer rival. What do I do?

QUOTE(spiderman @ Aug 12, 2007 -> 08:53 PM) Probably never, but I don't think they have a choice, and it may take $10 million + to get something done. Which may very well mean that you'll be seeing The Count of 3 and 2 here next season, and the one after that. Its gonna take a helluva lot of convincing for ownership to cover that much salary, especially for a 48 year old starter that WE gave the money to.

Well those numbers might quieten the "Gio for president!!" whispers. So he IS human!

I won't be much help here. I bought a Dell Inspiron 8200 about 8 years ago, and I still use it today. I've done all my own upkeep on it though, but its still trudging along. Talk about an absolute rock though. They made my lappy before the thoughts of "Lightweight PC" even were around apparently. NOT fun to lug around airports, etc.

I keep waiting...and waiting...for MLB.com to put it on the main page....though I don't know why I would expect them to cover it, seeing as its the White Sox and not an East Coast treasure.

5 hit, CG ShO by Jeff Goddamn Weaver....all I can do is

Hard to believe such a great job by Bobby is having to happen during such a s***e season..

Gametracker has Bobby hitting 98

A middle reliever with an ERA of 3.00 sounds so sexy, until people actually sit and consider what that means with the limited appearances...such a garbage number indeed.

Don't look now, but Bukvich's ERA is now at 2.96

Haegar is just...not good. After the initial appeal of the knuckle is gone, he is a below average pitcher who gets slapped around at all levels. NOT the answer for the starting rotation.

QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Aug 12, 2007 -> 04:01 PM) The Tigers must have been on suicide watch after Floyd shut them down. Even bad pitchers have decent days every now and then. That also was without 2 of their best hitters. Who are we not playing from our amazing starting lineup, that should be in there and doing damage possibly?

5 IP, 61 pitches for Weaver...3 H allowed...

Hah, way to go up there and get the job done Uribe, Cintron.

25 HRs in 123 IP....

Yeah heh, sorry Britney, that bird has flown. I think you missed your chance for that a LONG time ago, at least I hope to god you did.

Richar clearly needs another day off today so that Cintron can play, we can't be overworking those youngsters!!

Shutout so far by the hapless 3-10, 6.07 ERA Jeff Freakin' Weaver... GMAFB.

24 HRs allowed in 120+ IP...I don't care who you are, thats bad.

Having Floyd and Danks pitch back to back right now is some seriously bad juju...

Awesome grindErstad....awesome.
