Yeah, Tray...don't see too many S. Carolina fans who support the ChiSox also...I've been that way for a long time. Its even harder for me, benig a Packer fan in football on these boards I've made the drive from SC to Chicago a couple times now for a weekend series....long, boring drive through the Mid-West, but worth it when you get to 333 W. 35th St!!

Kansas shoulda already had 1 loss...at home to the hands of my South Carolina boys...but yet we found a way to suck at shooting critical FTs, and let Kansas get their FIRST lead of the game with 5:30 left in the game....so frustrating.

Personally, I see it as just something the media wants to throw out there and further make Moss look like a thug. Now, don't get me wrong, Moss is a top flight moron in terms of everything but his football abilities, but I respect his football abilties enough. And all of this coming from a Packer fan, someone who hates the Vikings with a passion. Media, get over yourself, and this will all blow over much easier.

you must have not been around much at the time Gashy....I caught MUCH hell for defending Koch while we had him, at times I was sure I was the only Koch fan left. At least now I no longer have to try and defend that 88 MPH arrow he throws down the middle And thanks Goldy for workin on something for me, I am not so good with the Paint Shop Pro- type software.

Hi there. I went to Picnic in the Park back in 2000 myself, made the drive to Chicago from South Carolina....and it was quite worth it. ALL of the players were there, except Jose Valentin (whom apparently got an earful about it from JR later on). You will be able to walk the entire field and meet/greet all the Sox players and coaches, and yes get autographs also. I still have my 2000 team signed ball, minus Jose Valentin :finger

Oh Goldy...now I do feel like an ass...I shoulda remembered it was you!! Well, I just need something new, I'm tired of looking at Billy Koch, I have no reason to defend that asshat anymore. AaRow, Garland and Freddy G. are my choices if ya wanna play around with something... It would be greatly appreciated!!

I'm ready....my South Carolina boys are preseason #8 already, having finished with the 2nd most wins in College baseball last year I believe. We have a few holes to fill though, namely Landon Powells presence behind the plate. Considering we took the eventual CWS champ to 3 games in our bracket (CSF), I feel good about the state of the program. Look out for the Gamecocks again in 2005!!

Well, with the new season upon us, I decided that I am in dire need of an updated sig....I mean, I have Billy Friggin Koch on mine still for Pete's Sake!!! :puke So, if someone is up to the task, heres what I'm thinking...I LOVE the layout of the one I have now, but I'd rather have AaRow, Jonny G, and Joe Crede as the players. The Captain America on my current one is great, dunno if you can still use it or not. Feel free to come up with a catchy phrase to add to it also Hopefully one of you graphic gurus can TCB as the King used to say!!

Heh, I heard one of the better covers ever when I saw Lostprohpets in concert earlier this year... "Cry Me a River" by Justin Timberlake, done by a heavier rock sounding band...was quite unique, and enjoyable.

Hmm, a few of my current favorites are as follows: "Sympathetic" by Seether "Out of My Way" by Seether "Somewhere Only We Know" by Keane and as much as I dislike the guy, I really like his cover of "Personal Jesus" by Marilyn Manson

Hmm, I actually like American Idiot....thought it was quite original in the lyrical sense. As for one of those songs I've heard lately that is horrid, I'd have to go with this Tim McGraw/Nelly crossover s***, whatever you wanna call it, its bad. I will also put in a vote for Ashlee Simpson, La La La or whatever you wanna call it....its been 14 minutes and 55 seconds for Junior Simpson, hopefully here time in the limelight is almost over

If we get 80+ RBI and 25+ HRs out of our super infielder, I'd be very happy. I think Uribe has the ability to do so, and even moreso, I'm happy that I dont have to see JosE6 strikeout for us again.

I like the move. When you get a young guy that can perform in a variety of different offensive mindsets, AND can play all over the infield...and you get him for just under $10 million for 3 seasons, you jump on it. Good job KW.

Thats teh biggest pile of BS ever.....um, it was pretty obvious that we were gonna go after Spurrier hard and heavy, and there was a timeframe to get it done. Why bring some coaches in for token interviews, knowing you weren't gonna hire em? This crap is just getting old. Find better battles to put your resources towards, BCA....gimme a friggin break.

I live in Anderson, South Carolina Tray....yes, VERY unusual to find a USC/ChiSox fan!!!! I thought forever that I was teh only one hehe. I am cautiously optimistic about next football season now, with Spurrier here. I am trying not to overhype the situation before it even begins, but it will be SO nice to see an offense that doesnt involve 25 QB draws and halfback inside handoffs. Get ready to see a gamestyle that doesnt involve trying to sit guardedly on a small lead!!

Actually, Clemson was pretty much in the position to where they were going to lose money had they accepted that Bowl invite, as sad as that is. What I hate more than anything, especially as an avid South Carolina fan, is that we sent Coach Holtz out with such a bitter tasting finale. These kids knew better than to behave the way they did. I was pretty sure that the bowl declines were gonna happen, both University presidents were in meetings all Monday morning, and it was pretty obvious what was gonna happen in my area of the state. My only regret, is sending Lou out like this. I apologize Coach Holtz, you deserved better. With that being said, bring on the Visor!!
