  1. Punching your wife, shows a lack of character and courage. I hope KW avoids acquiring players with those deficiencies.
  2. How many times have the Sox had 2 on with 0 out this game?
  3. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 03:00 PM) It's all my jinx and not KC being a 31-59 team haha. I'm not blaming you, just don't count KC victories until the final out is recorded. They are pathetic.
  4. QUOTE(Felix @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 02:58 PM) You spoke about 6 outs too early. 9-6 now, and still no outs in the 8th. Hence, jinx.
  5. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 02:57 PM) Shut up It's just simply amazing that we're almost 100 games into the season, and we still have the same holes on our roster that we did the opening weekend. Just wait until this team hits its rhythm.
  6. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 02:55 PM) Looks like KC will get its first win of the year vs. DET. Can we capitalize on that at all in te 9th? jinx
  7. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 02:47 PM) Juan's just dumb enough to hit a pitch he shoudn't into the seats. He's also dumb enough not to be able to get the bunt down.
  8. QUOTE(Tony82087 @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 02:44 PM) Mo in? Yep.
  9. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 02:37 PM) Garcia was hitting 92-93 consistently on the gun that inning. Looks like he can still throw it when he wants. He better stop being a woman and do this more often. I'm not sure how accurate that WGN gun is. He actually hit 94 in the 5th, but when Wright was hitting 94 Hawk said it was 88 with movement. Who knows. I'd have a whole different opinion of Freddy if he could consistently get up to 92-94.
  10. I think Freddy is still in because he's not in line for the W yet.
  11. I think the guy on Fox said the Sox were hitting .314 with risp this season. Chances are that is going to come down a little.
  12. Teams that rely so much on their offense are usually dissappointed when the season is over.
  13. Paulie looks like he's been dragging the bat through the zone lately. Hopefully he will turn it around. He's hurt Farnsworth in the past.
  14. I think we need a Rally Uribe.
  15. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 02:09 PM) This is such a great broadcast by Hawk and DJ today. They've really gone away from the blatant homerism and thrown out some legit criticism to day. I know. I wonder why the candid talk all of a sudden.
  16. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 02:05 PM) It was about as easy as a guy making the throw from 3rd to 1st with a fast runner going (ie relatively easy, but a bit of pressure since your rushing or in Melky's case cause its a longer throw). That was routine and it was stupid by Cora. Especially considering the tying run would have been coming to the plate.
  17. DJ just said its a shame when you don't know the difference between Garcia's fastball and change-up.
  18. I just slowed it up on Tivo. Crede was not quite to 3rd yet when Cabrerra scooped the ball up. It was an easy play, he had all day.
  19. I love running into easy outs down 3 in the 6th. Joey Cora makes some crazy decisions.
  20. The Sox need to get these 2 home.
  21. QUOTE(TitoMB345 @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 01:44 PM) Yeah, I was in Lake Geneva at the time, for 3 days, watching the Cinci series telling myself "Man, what a life! My team is destroying everyone, and I'm enjoying myself in an awesome house in Lake Geneva!" Now, I'm sitting in my house back here, watching my team suck for the past week, and I don't have anything else to do on this fine Sunday afternoon. You could go outside and sweat your bag off.
  22. QUOTE(SnB @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 01:39 PM) that's the thing that's bugging me the most, it's not their boppers that are beating us, it's the cabrera's and the cairo's of the world. Jeter and ARod drove in 3 in the first.
  23. QUOTE(BigSqwert @ Jul 16, 2006 -> 01:27 PM) A Yankee team missing 2 of its better hitters. 3 Sheffield, Matsui, Damon
  24. White Sox pitching has allowed 26 runs in 20 innings this series.
