I agree, but why would they help the Sox out? Trade a popular guy to the Sox, He helps them win, and your prize is a couple of middling prospects and financial relief. Wouldn’t go over with their fanbase .

At this point you just hope he can come back with the same speed and quickness he had. It would be an even bigger disaster if this made him a corner OF or a DH/1B.

I cant see the Cubs trading Bryant to the Sox without getting back so,etching they could really hang their hats on. They can get mid level guys from anywhere and not help the Sox out.

I think some day the training profession is going to figure out once and for all how to prevent hamstring injuries, which would save a couple of these guys. Whether that is a year away, 10 years or longer, who knows, but I think it will happen. They somehow figured out how to prevent a couple of pitcher injuries you used to hear about a few times a week now rarely do. Torn labrums and torn rotator cuffs.

Luis Gonzalez is Tony's new toy. An OF of Lamb, Leury, and Gonzalez might make Tony cancel his blue pill prescription. Then he's got Hamilton to PR for Lamb if he ever gets on base.

As bad as Grandal has hit, his OPS is higher than McCann’s. McCann has always had a problem hitting righties. He was great with the Sox, but I don’t think he is a 125-135 game starting catcher. He wasn’t a good framer until last year, but then he had what many are criticizing Grandal about. A problem with catchers interference.

If Robin Ventura or Ricky Reneria were making the same decisions Tony has made, no one would be defending them. Someone , maybe Hahn or KW or JR himself needs to tell Tony that especially from the left side Leury isn't a HOF baseball person brother. He isn't legit.
