I would think so. If they had fewer injuries, the race would be over. There is going to be a lot of weight on the pitcher's shoulders. If the Sox can avoid some bad injuries there, they should be OK.

Almost every player of the projected starting line up at the beginning of spring training has been hurt. Moncada and Vaughn may be the exceptions.

I don't know what will happen when they get to 100% capacity, but right now, at 60%, it's fine. You cannot go between levels. You now can walk around the park. You now can enter at any gate. You cannot bring bags like backpacks. Everything is cashless, and there are no vendors. If you are there just to watch the game, it's actually fabulous. No constant up and down the aisle blocking your view. Some separation between parties, and a good team to watch.

I haven't looked at White Sox spin rates, but the guys I would really be concerned with are Rodon and Giolito.

With Cole starting to get lit up, I wonder if the Astros pitchers were cheating more than their hitters. Verlander went from struggling to better than ever. I just like the fact, that the hardest thing about hitting a baseball is making contact, is something he has mastered. They can and will make him stronger. I like his chances having a really nice career.
