I think desperation has taken hold of the organ I zation.

Yes, but if Kimbrel helped the Sox win it all, and they didn't get a package back with some elite talent, their fanbase , even though they don't care about the White Sox, would never forgive them.

Also Bruce says the Sox are one of the teams interested in Kimbrel. Unless their offer is far superior, there is no way that will happen.

There is zero chance JR takes Hosmer's money.

Caulfield is so much better when he is not a Royals fan. I fear a Hosmer trade back to KC. He will probably break out a KC hat again. I'm sure he was wearing it around China back in the halcyon days.

I figured Ron should be happy since Yermin and Sheets are studs, LaRussa is the greatest manager maybe who ever lived, and Abreu is a pox on the organization that obviously doesn't have enough to acquire a rental reliever.

No. They are screwed. Hahn should back up the truck, get rid of that overrated Abreu and rebuild around a couple of studs, Yermin and Sheets. With LaRussa at the helm, it shouldn't take long.

94 +65=159

Why does Leury sit vs. LHP? He is historically a better hitter right handed.

You never really know what you can get if you are willing to take on money. But lets be real, they sometimes talk a big game about near miss blow you away trades, but they never happen, and this will be no different. I am with you. Escobar helps with power, and a reliable reliever or 2 would really help. Get the injured guys back, and the team is stacked.

I would really doubt the Sox are in on Marte. If they are actually looking for another OF, which I find hard to believe, it's got to be a big bat LH hitter who they just can't say no to. Other than that, they are going to use their capital on relief and 2B, and maybe a catcher.

Exactly. Any Sox fan paying attention to the deadline could have tweeted the same thing. The other dead giveaway the guy is fake is his insistence of trying to say Jeff Passan has verified him.

He's getting older. He's not a star, and KC wants a return like he is a star.

Vaughn can play 3B in a pinch for a couple of innings. But the team does need another infielder soon, so they pretty much have told you one is coming.

Optioning Burger was the correct move. The guy needs to play.

They probably, like most minimum wage paying jobs, have a shortage of workers, and the ones they have are probably rookies , without much idea what they are doing.

That one is easy....Lamb will go if the choice is Lamb, Goodwin or Hamilton. At the very least, they now can feel fairly comfortable Sheets can give them about what Lamb gives them is someone gets hurt.

Jon Morosi has as much false info as Not Cishek, although the Dodgers and Padres probably discuss every decent player.

If they didn't trade him for Joc Pederson, he can't be available. But trading him would be so shortsided.

Not Rick Hahn. So it really doesn't matter.

Angelina Jolie from 1994, wasn't that the Billy Bob days? One thing is for sure, I don't know anyone personally on this board, but you have to be at least as good looking as Billy Bob. Maybe not the checking account........

The Sox play Oakland in a couple of weeks. Is it possible he was scouting them and not getting ready to trade Madrigal to Seattle so he can rehab with them for the stretch? Or is Not Steve Cishek perhaps NOT a real insider?

All said, big win unless it doesn't count becaus Zavala and Lynn drove in the runs.

Kopech should have been double switched. Hamilton or Engel should have been in CF and the 7th inning wouldn't have been very stressful.

Sheets plays so deep.
