  1. Would you trade Mendick for Escobar? Personally, I think Frazier is going to cost too much, and regressing to the mean is probable.
  2. Maybe the Sox didn’t want him to get rusty before the big announcement.
  3. He's all in. He said a small trade like this wouldn't have been announced late last night. They will wait until today or tomorrow for that. It's really funny seeing a guy with obviously no info trying to seem like he has RH's phone bugged.
  4. He sat out last night. When is the announcement? Will be be in the line up today or join the team in Houston?
  5. Rehab assignments can only last 20 days, so if all goes well, Eloy will be hitting bombs and saying hi to hi mom the first or second week of August.

  7. Or about as much as his flyball judgement.
  8. So there won't be leaks, it is totally a stealth operation, but this clown knows all about it. OK..
  9. The Sox got it wrong too. If they had any inkling he would be doing this, they wouldn't have risked losing him, and would have tendered him.
  10. The GM can complain about it, but the same guys he is complaining about are the ones he is giving 7 figure signing bonuses. The guys who learn how to pitch but don't throw as hard are lucky to get $10k.
  11. Hendriksalso was wearing a sleeve on his elbow.
  12. Bowden just throws out names. He has no specific knowledge. I would be careful about Frazier. Lifetime .280 hitter hitting .328, switching leagues. He probably wouldn't hit .250. Escobar is the better choice IMO. Already had success on the AL, a slower start means he is probably due to get hot. He also loved playing for the Sox. I remember when he got traded. He cried.
  13. The lead is only 4.5. If it isn't at least 6 by the end of this weekend, the Sox need to sell. Fool's gold. One question I would have for Jack, at least some of the injured guys, if not all, will probably be back for the last month. If you sell, aren't you really screwing yourself?
  14. I heard the Twins haven't won a series vs. the Yankees since 2000.
  15. Carlos May did that. The Pirate missed first. He didn’t even get a single. At least Carlos missed home and got a triple.
  16. I would think so. If they had fewer injuries, the race would be over. There is going to be a lot of weight on the pitcher's shoulders. If the Sox can avoid some bad injuries there, they should be OK.
  17. There is no way he is not going on the IL. Hopefully it isn't more than a month, but that looked like an at least a month pull.
  18. Shocking news. Kyle Long is hurt. Some sort of leg injury. They hope he can return by the start of the regular season.
  19. Right now, they are pretty much the 2017-2019 White Sox with a much better rotation and Liam Hendriks.
  20. They have a lead, and some hope the players return. At the deadline, there may be a little more pressure on them if the race is tight, and the injured guys aren't progressing.
  21. The most amazing thing about this season is how little we have heard from KW. You wouldn't even know if he is still with the team.
  22. Has anyone been paying attention? If Madrigal is out long enough to require an addition, Yolmer part 3 will happen. He is hitting .167 in AAA with a ton of strikeouts. He won't cost anything.
  23. Almost every player of the projected starting line up at the beginning of spring training has been hurt. Moncada and Vaughn may be the exceptions.
  24. Not to mention a season ticketholder moved to another section isn't going to be happy when their seats are now available for sale. Plus it is only 3 weekday games.
