Right around Feb 1 , I got the worst cough I have ever had, and had a fever for a couple of days. I still have a little cough. I take a bus to work in the morning. You wouldn't believe the nasty looks I get if I have even the smallest cough now. My wife is convinced I had it, but I don't think so.

No, I think it was to call out the administration who has a news conference every day telling us how perfectly they are and have been attacking this. they are trying to get the Dow back in line. They got it to go up a few days ago with all the huge tax cut phoniness, then they rolled out this new website that is going to be a godsend, that turned out to be something that is still in early development by a company that doesn't have 1,700 employees, forget the 1,700 engineers the administration says it has working on, not meant to be what they claimed., They got to brag about how they set a stock market record on Friday, watch it go away this evening and tomorrow. We have been way too accepting of the lies as a nation. We have become too numb to them. This is a pandemic, spin and falsehoods don't work. Everyone knows a nurse or a doctor who says we are panicking, but isn't it better to err on the side of caution? Apparently people hate their grandparents and parents as many don't seem to care what this can do to them.

Not nearly as what Prizter was calling out the feds on last night which you seem to think he was out of line doing. Plus with as many people working from home as there is now, chances are you won’t have the huge rushes at certain time periods you do as normal primaries, plus it’s a primary, a ton of voters sit those out.

I already voted. There won’t be nearly as many people in any polling place on Tuesday as there were trying to get home at the international terminal at OHare yesterday. The federal government didn’t respond until after midnight.

Our company is doing half in half wfh next week to test the system. I am supposed to wfh Thursday and Friday. I would bet with the news constantly changing if they have no issues on Monday and or Tuesday, my extended wfh will start a few days sooner.

Some perspective, on Thursday the US had as many confirmed cases as Italy had last Sunday. The US population is 5 times that of Italy. Will it go up 5 times the amount it did there? Hope not, but probably. Still only 11k had been tested in the US. The gutting of the CDC turned out not to be a very bright move. The lack of tests is appalling. The travel ban means nothing. It’s for show anyway. If the President has a golf course in your country, that country is exempt. The cat is out of the bag.

There are 15 teams in each league. There has to be inter league games.

NCAA tournament cancelled.

My niece attends Michigan State. They just went on line only until April 20th.

They are not going to have fans at NCAA tournament games. This will be interesting to watch.

Sports is all about revenue from TV. They would much prefer to play games in empty stadiums than to probably not be able to re-schedule many of them.

I just read where the spread rate on this, the number of people an infected person passes it on to is between 2 and 2.5. With the flu it is 1.3, so close to double, and no vaccine. I work right above Union Station. I usually like to walk around down there or at least through the Great Hall to get lunch. There is no way I am going down there until this thing passes.

You must want to look for things to worry about. Taking anything from these games, at least for veterans, is nuts. Probably the last 5 or 6 years of Edgar Martinez career, they said he couldn’t catch up to fastballs in spring training. Look him up.

It’s March 8th. The games don’t count. Robert got blown away with 3 straight fastballs by the same pitcher. Better start worrying. To take anything away from veterans performances in spring training is crazy. He isn’t some young guy trying to make the team. He wants to be ready when the bell rings, not when the spring training games start. People fall for spring training stats every year.

The good news is if EE is done based on spring training March 8 stats, Adam Engel is headed for the HOF.

But you will probably pass it on, and eventually it will kill someone, because it keeps going.

It’s the downplaying it like even if you catch it, you’ll be fine. Not all people who think they have no issues, actually have no issues.It is unfortunate politics is playing the biggest role with this. A self proclaimed germaphobe is downplaying this about as much as you can and not for the benefit of the people of this country. Even if it doesn’t kill you, there is a good chance if you get it you will pass it on to someone. It may kill them or someone they pass it on to. I also hope everyone has some good insurance, because you are going to get gouged if you don’t.
