Rodon said the MRI was the same as the first one. I never read where it said it was inconclusive, but if it were horrible, he wouldn't have pitched at all this year, and wouldn't have been throwing 98. He also said he would be pitching next year. If the White Sox were freaking out, it probably would have leaked. I think it's debatable whether or not he actually had an MRI the second time. Maybe Hahn called Boras and said maybe Carlos isn't feeling quite right and could use the rest of the season off. We can look at some prospects and maybe lose a few more games bettering the team for Carlos when he pitches and it matters. Boras gives Carlos a call, and he isn't quite feeling right. 2 days prior, his arm felt great.

I don't know how much you would have to scout him if he was clearly worth all you could offer him. That said, he isn't coming to the White Sox, and wouldn't be coming to the White Sox had they not signed Robert.

They drafted well and I think everyone on this board would say the Bulls failed at "tanking" if they ended up with a 7th and 11th overall pick in this year / next year's draft (which is what the Warriors did with Curry / Klay). Good teams get better because they drafted well...not because they just crazily tanked. The exception to this is the Cavs, who maybe tanked, but they also royally sucked and obviously won LBJ. Miami and the Lakers did get Shaq. As long as the money is anywhere near equal, you can cross off at least 20 NBA teams that would ever be able to land a free agent that big. Something does need to be done to make teams at least a little less motivated to be so horrendous. Being as bad as possible shouldn't be automatically rewarded. Unfortunately, it is.

Must be a stiff breeze. The ball usually carries a lot better during the day in KC than at night.

SA has done a great job, but they did get luck and were bad when Robinson came out, then he was hurt and Duncan set them up for years. Tanking is a problem. I wouldn't mind seeing everyone who misses the playoffs with the same odds at the #1 pick. Maybe pick 3 or 4 or 5 ping pong balls, then slot everyone else by record. It's just typical this may happen right when the Bulls go into full tank mode, although they have had a lot of very high picks and really didn't do what they had to do with them. Plus there were some really bad drafts when they had these picks.

Covey, Fulmer, Lopez, Giolitto, Shields. 4 rookies and Big Game James. I think the post saying the Sox are being outsmarted about how to tank a couple of days ago, needs to be deleted. If they don't lose, it isn't for a lack of trying.

You need to be within 100 yards of the theater to buy the ticket. But you could go by in the morning for a show at night. You can only see 1 a day, and never the same one twice. I also have read, and don't know if it's true, that the 1 a day is also 1 in a 24 hour period. I haven't tested this yet. Maybe next weekend, but if you went to an 8pm show on Friday, you couldn't go to a 7 PM show on Saturday. You pick the movie off their app, the AMCs by me are listed, no Arc Light. AMC still gets their money.
