  1. Shane O'Brien is a POS and the Sedins are trying to be physical and it is not working
  2. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ May 7, 2010 -> 10:53 PM) So who two months ago would have rather had Neimi in net than Luongo in the playoffs? I think the best thing that could have happened to Neimi was getting to face an offensively weak Nashville team out of the gate to get his feet wet
  3. Kopecky is having a great playoff 3 career playoff goals all this year
  4. Hawks are sitting back too much Stupid Vancouver penalty
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ May 7, 2010 -> 10:29 PM) Well, most fans probably just stayed home to watch the Blackhawks. Truth be told, the White Sox have no buzz in Chicago right now. Last May I watched the Sox get drilled and humiliated on back to back home Fridays and realized this team was not any good and never really watched them with any excitement the rest of the year. It took me three games this year to realize there were no changes made to this team
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ May 7, 2010 -> 10:19 PM) f*** that, I'm more pissed about the 8th. Buehrle let them tie the game when he had no business still pitching. With Thorton rested it is inexcusable that he did not pitch the 8th or 9th there could be a bigger no brainer
  7. guillen's bullpen management along with the simply stupid rationale that pierre and vizquel should bat 1 and 2 should be reason enough to fire him
  8. QUOTE (greg775 @ May 7, 2010 -> 10:05 PM) The Blackhawks are so good, it's scary; 4-2. Power play thing of beauty. crap I am watching on dvr about 5 mins behind this game like pinball suppose i could spead it up
  9. So Thorton is not used in the 8th or 9th but can pitch the 10th and 11th the fundamental simple things that anyone can see are dismissed by guillen. He continues to cost his team games with his assine lineups and inability to work a pen. For god sake just put your hottest hitters at the top of the lineup. The Sox are on the verge of being under .500 three of the last four years with his way of thinking and a $100M payroll. Hopefully it ends soon. I never really wished a player would get hurt as much as I wish Pierre would tear a hammy.
  10. I really think guillen plays to lose for some odd reason. He is giving this game away it is the 8th inning and Mark throws to contact easy to manage this game you lose with thorton and jenks not the 2-4 starter whose era is 5.5 wow is he just a terrible manager...well his guy did hit a two run homer tonight
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ May 7, 2010 -> 08:49 PM) This is the type of move that if it doesn't work out can get a manager fired. guillen knows more than everyone just ask him.......you have a good pen use it here......he is a real bad a manager
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ May 7, 2010 -> 08:33 PM) But people going to the game tonight didn't know this. it is not out of the ordinary common fans are not going to come out until it is guaranteed to be warm unless the team is red hot
  13. QUOTE (fathom @ May 7, 2010 -> 08:28 PM) Well, he popped that one up! It's been so much fun watching him hit. He is fun to watch offensively and defensively
  14. Just f***ing play Nix or Beckman jesus
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ May 7, 2010 -> 08:14 PM) Have the Sox still not swung at a 3-0 pitch all year? Nope
  16. I have Marcum in fantasy baseball my heading is spinning right now.... couple of hard hit balls in a row gotta like that
  17. QUOTE (fathom @ May 7, 2010 -> 08:07 PM) Which is one of the reasons that if we're going to suck, then suck a lot! Nothing worse than seasons like last year where you're close enough to compete, but not really in the race. the sox were ahead of the twins with 3 weeks left in the season
  18. they couldn't even entertain until the hawks started.
  19. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 7, 2010 -> 07:58 PM) So, you're saying that KW wanted to dump Beckham, Quentin, Ramirez, and Pierzynski, but Ozzie wouldn't let him? guillen wants the pierre, vizquel, erstad type of hitters and guys that can play multiple positions based on his theory guys need at least 2 days off a week a theory that holds no water
  20. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 7, 2010 -> 07:57 PM) You're forgetting Alexei Ramirez's 550ish OPS, botched routine balls, vapor locks and baserunning adventures. a player that guillen is overly accomadating he should have ph for him last night based on his L/R theory
  21. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 7, 2010 -> 07:54 PM) Blame=KW this is guillen's team kotsay, pierre and vizquel are guys he wanted kw went along and is just as much to blame though
  22. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 7, 2010 -> 07:52 PM) Then the starters ought to start F***ING HITTING while i agree, the bench sucks to the point that there are no other options
  23. guillen will blame the start on the poor starters hitting thus having to play vizquel and kotsay not on the real fact that they both suck and thus he left himself with this group of s***
  24. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 7, 2010 -> 07:12 PM) It's MARCUM tonight, not Romero.... yes and romero either tonight or Sunday. Nice start I said earlier it is cold and crappy either guy can throw a no hitter. Marcum rather easily with this lineup.
  25. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ May 7, 2010 -> 06:22 PM) f*** you all. Sox will win and all of the prior s*** will be done. Kick some ass Chisox!!! I really want to be with you brutha but I just think tonight will mirror last night and Romero will ace them again because that is what they do. I do think they will have success on the road trip though.
