  1. QUOTE (Controlled Chaos @ May 7, 2010 -> 08:14 AM) Just heard this idiot on Mully and Hanley(Rosenbloom was in for Mully) Glad to hear both of them basically tell him to shove it and worry about getting our state in order. They both pretty much just said this is political stunt. I assume the podcast will be up shortly http://podcastrss.play.it/mully-and-hanley-show_mp3_128.xml He was on around 7:30ish As promised http://wscr.cbslocal.com/2010/05/07/martin...dorf/#more-9633 He really got lit up pretty good.
  2. QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ May 6, 2010 -> 11:43 PM) Well he's due for a win tomorrow. We've alternated wins and losses over our last 10 games...win is up. I wonder what it would feel like to go on a winning streak... We went 2-4 in NY and Tex that is not possible
  3. I hope it is interesting until I turn it off for the Hawks game. Going to be cold out there....we may see a no hitter.
  4. I watched the last two innings of this game and realized why I really do not care to watch them any longer they really are not worth the effort.
  5. wow I know some 12 year old kids that could do what quentin and ramirez just did....this team really looks to not care swing as f***ing hard as you can they catch a break and have two horsehit at bats
  6. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 6, 2010 -> 09:38 PM) Carlos is a straight up 1 year fluke. What a buster. He certainly swings hard.
  7. against the sox it would be a double single tie game the sox will be nothing like that
  8. Ramirez made that look a lot harder than it needed to be Kevin Gregg is coming in.....come on
  9. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ May 6, 2010 -> 09:27 PM) Yeah right. There are still people defending Walker to this day. It's insane. I used to defend him but the approah of hitters and their ability to be completly shut down during a game is what irks me they seem to just go through the motions
  10. he really needs something different
  11. beckham looks helpless up there that was as sad as an inning could be they are going to lose 3 of 4 to the jays I need to just reside myself to the fact that they are lucky to be a .500 team that will struggle offensively under this regime that is not great at putting the pieces together any longer
  12. QUOTE (Brian @ May 6, 2010 -> 09:07 PM) Too bad the Cards have lost 3 in a row. Getting swept by philly and getting swept by the pirates are vastly different

I rewatched and saw the Jin hand thing. Missed that the first time through. Couple of thoughts, I think Widmore and Flocke are actually working together. I think this mainly because the first time through Keamney lead the charge and now there is no really show of force from the Widmore folks. I also go back to fact that Widmore was banished. Why is it that all of a sudden Widmore can get to the island and begin setting up camp. Sayid gets to power plant ratehr easily. I do not think that Locke is indestructible but yet nobody hits him with a shot. Also pure dumb luck that Kate gets shot which casues Jack to get on the boat.... The sub was left unguarded andthe explosives were not really that well hidden on the plane. I do not know how spoiler tags work.
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ May 5, 2010 -> 03:08 PM) Yes, relieving in terms of not having to deal with the awfulness that was surrounding the Chicagoland area during that playoff season. I would never say that the White Sox winning in 2005 was relieving. That was more thrilling and satisfying. And if the Cubs won it in 2003, the 2005 WS wouldn't have been nearly as special in Chicago. You are 100% correct. When they beat the Braves, that was the first baseball series to be won in this city in 90 years. 2005 would have been an afterthought if the cibs even made it to the World Series in 2003.
  15. Watching Rios play this year and thinking what might have been last year for some reason makes me dislike Dye
  16. Ole Buff makes his money against Vancouver in the playoffs
  17. QUOTE (Brian @ May 5, 2010 -> 09:03 PM) Niemi with some sick saves so far He's on his head
  18. I love watching Rios play when he is on. He makes baseball look so easy.
  19. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ May 4, 2010 -> 03:42 PM) Daryl Drake (WR coach for the beloved) He makes a good point about not stereotyping, however, I think my dog could still beat Devin Hester in a game of scrabble. Sorry, I just don't see how that guy is very smart. Wasn't it the Bears that said it about Hester and Bennett and why they were struggling in their first year's as WR not the media?
  20. QUOTE (RockRaines @ May 5, 2010 -> 11:09 AM) The refs are ridiculous. The Phantom fouls need to go away, the traveling is extinct. While the NHL playoffs get better, the NBA gets worse. Yet if you listen to B&B on the score you would think NBA playoff basketball is the greatest thing there is.

I think Jin is alive.....same as the freighter...... I have always thought about the kid being Kwon as well
  22. Really is sad that there is no crowd out there and you could not have more beautiful weather. Time for Lost.
  23. Come on Hawk, what about Bert Campanaris
  24. At some point the pitching just has no chance to win because they are unable to make one mistake. How many 4+ run innings have they given up compared to how many times they have scored more than 2 in an inning. Close games go to hell rather quickly.
