I just checked in and can not get over how complacent this team is as I stated yesterday there really seems to be no desire to win and whether the quotes were out of context or not any player on this team to b**** and moan about Peavy and Rios proves this. They are a .500 team that thinks they are better than that....and sadly they are...they have zero baseball IQ...none

I looked at the stats of Grady Sizemore compared to Rios and while Sizemore is the better power hitter I think Rios is the better defender and makes better contact....this trade really is a good move considering what the options were going forward. Rios is as good a lead-off candidate as anyone his career OBP is .335.

Skipping the fifth starter is going to cost this team as all four starters look like they could use an extra day of rest right now.
