I will agree with the Pods, Ramirez and Beckham talk in this thread but the reason the Sox are not winning more is because the abyss that is Dye, Konerko and Thome show up once a week and I am saying only one of them once a week or hit the random homerun. It has become an annual rite of passage they stop playing for months at a time.

What a pitiful effort. Think Tejada will pitch the 9th.....actually anyone pitching the 9th will shut these fools down. Wow did this game go to hell in a hurry. Why do teams never seem to stop playing after three innings against the Sox?

The Sox may not score again until some time Friday....hopefully Amazing how easily this team can shut it down.

This team is just not any fun to watch. The pitching seems to give up the big hit and then the offense just goes away. There is zero consistency from one inning to the next with this team. Peavy will pitch for the Sox next week as there are no other options right now. The Royals suck yet they give the Sox everything thay can handle every game. Sadly I think tomorow could be very ugly. Oh and the Tigers beat he M's bullpen...great....the M's will be swept rather easily check out the pitching mat-ups in the next two games.
