  1. The 2-2 in the dirt is killer..................NOPE Welcome ot the 2007 White Sox Mr. Thorton.
  2. They were hell bent on trying ot steal that base. Either start Jenks or lose with Thorton. NO SWITCHING!!!!! This is a no win for Guillen either way.
  3. Phelps, Cabrerra and Abreu have done nothing all season. Ugh, that turns the line-up over.
  4. QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ May 16, 2007 -> 03:12 PM) I'm going to go out on a limb and say that doesn't happen...managers are very reluctant to put themselves in a situation without a viable backup catcher. If Pierzynski DH's, that puts Mackowiak in the emergency C role and, quite frankly, that just scares the hell out of me. Sorry that is a stupid idea on my part. The rally really got me dizzy along with AJ getting a hit off a leftie.
  5. QUOTE(Jenks Heat @ May 16, 2007 -> 02:43 PM) If the Sox actually took pitches the Umpiring may be consistent. Scrolling through the Gameday, I can't find anyone that has taken more than one strike. AJ ---- HR Ya. No batter has taken strike two or three in this game for the White Sox.

  7. Can't let another s***ty hitter beat you.
  8. Two guys hitting under .225 are winning this game for them. 2-2 game runners still on. f***
  9. Bust Damon inside he is going with the pitch like he is looking for it. Flashback to the Boston game when Crede dropping the pop foul. Nice job, god I am really starting to hate this offense. Danks around 63 pitches.
  10. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ May 16, 2007 -> 02:00 PM) That thing is a dozen rows up on a normal day. A-Rod thought he had it, Sweeney sprinted all the way to the wall and actually looked up for a moment before the wind drifted it back in and towards center and he caught it a step in front of the wall. Danks is still pitching great though. FINALLY a hard hit ball, and right at Phelps. Figures. Radio said he took a bad route.
  11. Konerko HR Singleton made it interesting.
  12. 3-0 on last two hitters after retiring the first two then pitches around it. Nice
  13. QUOTE(watchtower41 @ May 16, 2007 -> 01:50 PM) How many stars did he hang on that one?? "A great big one!"
  14. Almost hit a ball hard that inning.......................
  15. QUOTE(watchtower41 @ May 16, 2007 -> 01:40 PM) Molina yes, but I wouldnt write in stone that Terrero will start in LF for the nightcap just yet. Ozzie could out Rob Base in LF, with him at DH in the first....and of course everyone's favorite donkey, Pablo. I think Terraro in Center, and either Erstad or Konerko at DH/1B with Mack in Right and Ozuna at second or third for Crede or Iguchi.
  16. Doesn't it seem that in just about every series there is a player that struggles and then gets really big hits and gets hot against White Sox pitching. With Terraro and Molina starting in the next game Wang may throw a perfect game. Guaranteed WHIP for the game of 0.667. We'll end up with 6 base runners. Also AJ is becoming a defensive liability.
  17. Go and read the Spoilers for the next two episodes. They sound cool but there is a really odd ending to the season that sounds really Jump the Sharkish but this has happened before with good results.
  18. TOBY HALL BETTER BE ON A PLANE!!!!!!! He can play today and agaisnt Lilly.
  19. I'd rather risk Thome and Hall at 50% then Mack and those other bench options.
  20. QUOTE(The Ginger Kid @ May 15, 2007 -> 10:43 AM) have the Sox played a home game when the weather has been in the 80s? Saturday and Sunday were perfect days for baseball. Anything like yesterday is to warm for the white folks, just ask Dusty.
  21. QUOTE(briguy27 @ May 14, 2007 -> 09:28 PM) so seriously, as of right now, if the sox could trade their team for the cubs team straight up, would u do it? i mean, the sox have no hitting, but they have to go up, considering u cant go much further down. but the cubs have lee and ramirez, and also marquis and hill. what does everyone think...? This is the stupidist thread I have ever read. I'll take a team under .500 in the NL and see what they can do in the AL. What sense would that make? Jason Marquis is magically a real good pitcher now? Come on. You end up with Dempster, Howry and Eyre. You think our bullpen is bad. How about that outfield defense. Pie is not even in the majors. He is Brian Anderson with some speed AND STRIKES OUT MORE! WTF is wrong with some poeple. The Mets defense tried to give them the game. Ya I'll take the under .500 team from the worst division in baseball and see if they can have a better record than the team that is winning in the best division in baseball. Come on.
