I place almost no value in individual prospects, so get a bunch of them and hope one pans out. There is no guarantee that any of these guys will make the 25 man roster, or once there have any impact. If we are scoring who wins this trade in 2007, I'd say Detroit. Perhaps down the road, if one of these guys pans out, the trade will need to be rethought. But I don't think the Yankees lineup is better without him. These guys didn't play for the Tigers. He's an upgrade for what they had. For that, I like this trade for Detroit.

NEW YORK (Billboard) -- Eddie Van Halen has brought his 15-year-old son, Wolfgang, into Van Halen as the veteran rock band's new bass player, a spokesperson told Billboard.com. Father and son, along with Eddie's drummer brother Alex, have been rehearsing for a 2007 tour, but it is unknown who will serve as the band's vocalist. (Wolfgang's substitution for original bass player Michael Anthony was first reported by news Web site TMZ.com a week ago.) Rumors continue to swirl that original singer David Lee Roth, who was replaced by Sammy Hagar in the mid-1980s, will return to the fold, despite years of enmity. Roth, who has recently worked as a radio DJ and a paramedic, told Billboard.com in May that he saw it "absolutely as an inevitability." No details have been provided about the departure of Anthony, a fan favorite who generally kept out of the internecine warfare in the band. As for the musical acumen of Wolfgang, Eddie Van Halen enthused to Howard Stern in September, "If I excel at the speed of sound, he excels at the speed of light. This kid is just a natural." Perhaps the election results and the aftermath are vindication that Bush is actually all those things? and 2. When will the GOP stop bringing up good ol' number 42, William Jefferson Clinton? You are asking the Dems to stop in a day, when the GOP hasn't stopped in 14 years? Comparing this to past elections, we had those pretty maps that showed a huge landslide for Bush, who received 51% of the vote and the flip flop comments continued. Not mentioning this as justification, just showing these remarks are inevitable. The winners will gloat and try to make more of the election it is. The losers will try and mitigate the loss. Some people will have their pride hurt. The spinning will make everyone dizzy until we puke.
