Well, I amn now the puzzled owner of a 1787 ????shaw flintlock. I am a little nervous to fire the thing, I'm wondering if it's going to explode in my face.

QUOTE(WilliamTell @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 05:11 PM) That's kinda weird, kinda like a big brother type thing. That's how the search engines work. They document every link and every word and every image so when you type in useless drivel you get anyone of my posts
  3. Same could be said for the Sox. The corners stay, everything up the middle is new.
  4. QUOTE(babybearhater @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 02:06 PM) this is coming from someone who has said that KW improved the team-here is a quote from your previous post "Speed? : Improved with Pods Rotation? : Improved with El-Duque Defense? : Improved with Dye. Hitting? : Improved with healthy Dye, Thomas, & AJ. Relief? : Improved with Hermannson a lot, Luis a little. Meanwhile the Twinks lost Koskie, Guzman, Mientcy. Re-vamping their IF in 2005. What's the probabilities the new guys will be as good or better D than the old ones? If you were a betting man you would say the CWS improved over last yr's injury plagued team at the same time the Twinks got weaker. That should give the CWS a nod in the div race. " Looks like you let him off the hook already Juggs Hitting Maggs, Frank, Lee, > Dye, Thomas, & AJ Defense will also depend on how the middle infielders settle in and declined with AJ behind the plate.

When any of the search engines come and log the site they show up. Google is a regular visitor.
  8. QUOTE(EvilJester99 @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 02:21 PM) I will attach it here and maybe someone could upload it to my avatar.... Are you set up on photobucket or any image hosting site? If not, sign up at photobucket, save that photo to your hard drive and then upload it to photobucket and link from there.
  9. Looking at some of the recently computed stats I am beginning to believe we are creating false impressions and faulty conclusions. Many of these stats have too many interrelated factors that they are almost worthless. Take a player out of his team and things are going to be different. I think the old standbys that could be computed manually in 1908 are still the purest and best.
  10. QUOTE(babybearhater @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 01:55 PM) Its a great article, but it really makes me think. I am not sure if Carlos can succeed in the cleanup role, nor as being the "man" in the lineup. i always thought that Carlos hit his best in the #2 hole when there were big bats behind him. Im not sure if he will clear 30 bombs this season or even bat 300, it is yet to be seen however. I'm guessing his experience with Maggs and Thomas out of the line up proved to himself and the Brewers that he could be. I believe he is on about a 3-4 year run of improvement. I will be surprised if he isn't an all-star in 2006.

QUOTE(Iwritecode @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 02:11 PM) Dressing in "out there" clothes, wearing earings and makeup and dying your hair is completely different. The original post was about hair length only. My point is that it's possible to look professional and business-like even with long hair. To discriminate against somebody solely because their hair goes past their collar is wrong. And it doesn't go past the color when dry. It's so curly as soon as it dries it's well above the collar.

  20. They should be happy. The Brew Crew got a good player who hopefully will place them atop that division for a long time.
  21. QUOTE(sox-r-us @ Jan 11, 2005 -> 01:00 PM) Can we get back to the topic at hand? So, if for one sec, we assume this trade does go down and we get Mr Consonant and Kim, is that a good thing? I would prefer Mr Consonant to Gload and if we are giving up marginal prospects for Kim, and Boston is taking on a huge chunk of that $6M salary, why not. Totally bogus rumor. The clubs ain't pitching this one.
  22. Nice work. I like the combo package.
