Most of the posters here seem to have IQs over room temperature. Why can't intelligent people find some other adjectives to use in describing people? There is a time and a place for almost all forms of communications. While this place seems like home, and from a long ago poll, we know that some people are so comfortable here, they have posted in the nude, this is a space with both friends and strangers. Let's not allienate potential new members.

Maggs hasn't signed. I doubt Boras is going to stick his neck out too far for Maggs or any player. Boras is too good a negotiator to take part in that elaborate of a con. That would topple his gravy train too much. Maggs and Boras took a huge gamble and lost. I am sorry for Maggs. I wish him all the best, especially if he winds up in the NL. I am sensing a Baines-type career for Maggs after this. Limited OF play. That would seemingly eliminate any NL team from a good fit. But sense when did a good fit really come into play? A big peak at Maggs health will come when he does sign.
