one thing i want to know...
It's a rolling 24 hour clock, he was at 161 for today, I just rechecked. Are you clicking on today's top 10 posters from the home page? Oops, I just slowed down and re-read your post. You mean his overall, I was looking at just today as an example. And not picking on him. Also, anyone who gets into the game chats easily racks up another 20. I live on the Mexico border in McAllen, near Brownsville.

Should KW be looking for TWO starting pitchers??
Let's just hope that JR doesn't get confused and make a trade for a Big Eunuch

Mary Kate Olsen enters rehab for Anorexia...
s***, we won't need a network in the afterlife, half of SL&P is going to hell The scary thing about ED, is we have to eat to live. Drugs, alcohol, etc. we do not need to survive but that eating, water, and breathing stuff is important. By the way does she . . . :puke I get them confused /see ya in hell

one thing i want to know...
50 times a day is pretty easy if you post in all the forums. Southsider hits 100 on a good day and no one accuses him of spamming. MoTown04 has over 150 posts today and I don't think I've seen more than a dozen.

Cubs as Champs
I never lived further south than Irving Park Road. My last home was in Wheeling and worked in Schaumburg. I know the irritation of being surrounded by Cub fans.
-
Cubs as Champs
I would make an exception for out of towners who have never lived in the belly of the beast.
-
Crosstown Chat
I'll bet the ratio of Cub to Sox fans will depend on the score. We're up and Sox fans everywhere.
-
Thanks for the idea, Tribunies
No one can irritate a true Sox fan worse than a Cub fan. Damn, they are everywhere. You cannot escape them. A token Indian or Twin fan is one thing but s*** we sometimes have to work, eat, play, and cheer the Bears with these morons. That's the worse thing about the Cubs. If they moved to Phoenix, I could even grow to like them.

Crosstown Chat
Yuch. We attack each other and it gets ugly, imagine a couple Cubbies in the mix. Of course if we are busy sweeping . . . :fthecubs

Cubs as Champs
It would be far easier for me to live with a Cub WS win, being 1536 miles from the Cell. If I was still in Chicago, and working in Schaumburg, it would be a f***ing nightmare. :headshake :puke

Jung Bong
And we can have the Wright, Munoz, Rauch, Diaz, Rauch merry-go-round. JR keeps some money and we are 2 games out, and hoping to make a deal. We'll probably have to give up a top prospect or two to get some real help. Dollars or players, eitehr way we are overpaying. One thing last year with Colon's ERA, and something I really disliked about him, if he smelled a loss coming on, he practically offered up BP. It wasn't until the team showed a little spark that he beared down and pitched. At the end of last season I had the most confidence in him or our starting 5.

HP Laptop Power Cords
No it's pretty new. The problem is this one goes all over the house. It's kind of an "extra" one for IMs, etc. So a docking station isn't all that convienent.
-
Jung Bong
Hard to compare but he would have been a solid #3 I'm certain and he would be eating a #1 salary. But overpaying in money may have been better than overpaying in minor league talent.

Jung Bong
Colon wanted 4 years. At his age and physical condition, who knows if he would be pitching in year three, let alone year four. Still, he would look a whole lot better than what we have now.

Cubs as Champs
Brando, are you saying you do not agree? Always getting to the point in the fastest amount of time. I hope this doesn't degenerate into a hate filled, profanity laced, thread.

That's the difference between an established player who makes $X+ and an unproven commodity that makes $X-- You pay for the experience and the safety in knowing what you will get.

HP Laptop Power Cords
LMAO. It's in the right hole. I tried a velcro arrangement but as the cover is lowered and raised it changes the amount of cord and doesn't work. I wonder if they have a docking platform or something.

I thought that one guy was a fan It is scary how poorly everyone has done from that spot.

HP Laptop Power Cords
Their system sucks. Once again, in the middle of something, I had't noticed the power connector had pulled away from the notebook. When the power hit a certain pre-defined lower limit it went into hybernation mode and pissing me off. ANyone know of a solution to keep the damn plug, plugged in?

I do like that they brought Rauch up a few days before the start. Let him get comfortable, instead of being dropped here from Mars. Let him know he's getting three starts before looking to hook em. Hell we're 0-8 from that spot. The only thing we haven't tried is leaving a healthy guy in there for a while.
