  1. Because they used the report function because they think you're a nice guy and they didn't want to publically call you out.

  3. I really cannot tell a difference between the three. I go to the one that is closest to me at the time I need something. It would be a slight preference but I would rank them Depot, Staples, Max. But really I don't care.
  4. Besides BeGood, and just because I remember him mentioning it, I couldn't tell you who is 13 and who is 31, and who is as hold as cw and I. Actually my most annpoying troll, who was never banned, but left on his/her own was alegedly over 21.
  5. I can't wait for the baseball season to start.
  6. Then why did the UN need to do anything in the 1940s? What exactly did the UN do?
  7. Can we all agree that statistics from this region are all suspect? I really have a hard time believing either side's statistics. The more people die on both sides, the more power the hardline radicals on both sides develop. Keep escalting the violence against your enemy and they will keep increasing their violence against you. First the doves are silenced, then the moderates, and finally it's all out war with many hundreds of thousands of people dying. Sadly there are people like 4E on both sides of this, and they both want body counts to solidify their support. I'll bet Hamas would love to have bodies of little kids killed at their daddy funeral. If that wouldn't be the best recruiting poster, I do not know what would be. And the death to all Palistinians would aplaud that because it would increase the attacks on Israel, allowing more and more violence to be used against the Palestinians. I wonder which side it sustaining more casualties? Israel using tanks, helicopters, missles, or the Palestinians using home made bombs.
  8. It is one means of evaluating if a cruiser cop is working. In some locals, I'm thinking Hainsville, Illinois where they had 6 squad cars for a population of just over 200 at one time. They would hire all of these part time cops to sit on 120 and pull people over. If you covered your salary, plus some for the city, you kept your job. Oops, I mean they kept the good people of Hainsville save from all the out of towners who would have been speeding.
  9. Oh crap, even Jason gets birthday wishes?! I guess everybody is entitled now. Thank you, you have done so much to lower productivity, nationwide, no internationally, for so many people. From offices in Michigan, to Texas, to schools in New York, even "down under"
  10. Using 4E's numbers One of the 30% of Palistinians who just wants peace and hasn't yet developed a hatred for Isreal is driving down a highway to attending his daughter's fotball game. Unfortunatly, at the same time, a Hamas leader decides to use that same stretch of highway. Israel helicopters launch missles into the Hamas leaders car, delighting 4E and Nuke who jump up, cheer, yell, toast, and delight in the bastard dying. But the person in the other car is just as dead. He is "collateral damage". A nice way of saying his life wasn't worth living, if a Hamas leader could be killed. Two days later, his widow and two children are trying to make sense of it, why someone who wanted peace, who never voted for these Hamas, has been taken away. They plan a quiet funeral for just their family and curse the Hamas and the Israeli missle that killed him. Hamas sees this a perfect time to recruit new mercenaries. Hamas learns when and where the funeral shall be and send over fanatics to wave AK-47s in the air and shout death to the people who did this to you! Now, 4E believes the "collateral damage's" children must be killed at their father's funeral. They are powerless against Hamas. They have even less than Hamas. They have no guns to chase Hamas away. But 4E is in charge, and he orders an attack on the funeral. So the helicopters roll in and the grieving children are killed also. And 4E and Nuke cheer and toast each others. They shout we killed the bastards at their own funeral! Nuke explains how "collateral damage" is ok and 4E explains the children probably weren't innocent anyways. Maybe make a few jokes. 4E can feel like a real man, safe in his home in Chicago. And then the percentage of Palistinians who think Israel is bloodthirsty goes up by a few more. And another 12 year old decides that Israel must be stopped at all costs, certainly before his mother is killed. And he kisses his mother good-bye, walks to a Hamas hideout, straps on a bomb, and climbs on a crowded bus in Israel . . .
  11. I just thought of a revenue stream. Who gets to push the button on the next troll? That seems like too much fun. A couple clicks and He Gawn! I actually appreciate a troll every once in a while. We need to invite a couple Skankee fans to post. Bu-bye!

  14. I stuffed the ballot for Lugo last year. I thought it would be funny if a guy currently playing in the AL would have been voted a starter on the NL team. Fan voting is so stupid. Hell they allowed votes from Japan last year. AT the minimum, you should have to go to the ballpark and vote. I'd even allow monor league parks to have ballots. But being able to sit at home and just vote for your hometown guys is dumb and meaningless.
  15. How about Homeland Security people chanting death to Palistinians, are they innocent?
  16. How is presenting a view of 'why' appologizing? The US has killed more people around the globe than any other civilization in history. I suppose that makes us everybodies friend.
  17. So we only stop the most indecent thing and let everything else pass? Name something more indecent than me wishing you dead? You are outraged because soxtalk owners drew the line at death, others would be outraged because they allowed it; which is better? Perhaps some people cannot express themselves without using death threats. I think they can. It will just take a little practice.
  18. Of course. I'm certain we all feel safer and more secure the more people around the globe hate us because we have Homeland Security keeping us safe. Let's piss off the Chinese, Hispanics, and Jews while we're at it. f*** them, they don't have anything we need. We can always nuke them all and move to another planet.
  19. Ahh the good old days when you could wish someone dead. I think there should be some restraint and wishing someone killed seems like an easy enough standard.
  20. Link to career stats -- His ERA is getting worse each year. After his first complete season his ERA is increasing.
  21. If I say College Station, Chapel Hill, Ann Arbor, etc. college sports fans would instantly know what I'm talking about. Others would never have heard of most of those towns. THe Rio Grande Area feels more "grown up" with a Pro baseball team, hocket team, and now an entry in the Arena Football League 2.
  22. The perceptions are also geographic. With Houston (4), Dallas (8), Fort Worth (27), San Antonio (9), Austin (16), and El Paso (23), it's hard to remember there are any cities outside Texas Yet we think of cities like Vegas (32), Atlanta (41), Minneapolis (43), Miami (47), Pittsburg (?), as big. It does take multiple teams for sports fans to think of a city as big. Just as I am certain it takes a nice opera for some opera fans to place a city "on the map" or a major museum, etc. In other words I don't think non sport fans would have the same perception.
  23. This must be a nightmare for the knowledgable Cub fans. I remember when the Bulls went through this b.s. It was a nightmare. My seats were in the last row and al of a sudden we had drunk s.o.b.s buying standing rom and spilling beer.
