I've been dismissing any talk of Koch playing for another MLB team next season as wishful thinking. Now I'm starting to wonder, are the Mets seeing something we aren't? I'm hoping that Koch and not Botch will show up next season, but it's just idle die hard fan wishing. Or have I missed something?

Did you say anything about the guest list? Any of the we're trying to cut a few people, or the I hate the if you invite A then you have to invite B who will bring C and if C comes you have to let D bring E? With the exception of PA, who just tipped his hand, I am keeping the nominating group secret from each other and everyone else. This way the final three won't know who to blame besides me I'm also allowing for private nominations via my PM and self nominations. I asked the group to read the nominations on this thread on Monday and narrow it down to three in each category. I'll compile the polls from their lists.

it's going to be enough work to narrow down these 14 categories to have a decent poll. I agree there is plenty of room for some other more deserving awards.
