The White Sox had the best players in the division this season but not necessarily the best team I'm glad they noticed it. I wonder if that will lead to changes based on the club house or changes on the field. It sounds like they would be willing to stand pat, or close to it, if they could create a sense of "team"

For me, at one point a hero has to have been in a position they can make a choice and choose the heroic. No offense but she got in a truck accident and was rescued. The civilian and the soldiers are far more heoric than here.
  3. At least at the stadium I could bring my radio and listen to the broadcast. Guess what no radio play by play for the Killer Bees. I do admit the jerseys are pretty cool. They had special ones made up for this Halloween game. I've met most of the front office. Great group of guys. Mostly Canadians COLOR=green]who would have thought[/color] They also played the Canadian Anthem. Let me see . . . Corpus Cristi Ice Bats vs. The Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees and they play Oh Canada. Half the crowd was looking around asking what the hell is that? Of course when was the last time you saw a Mexico Flag at a Hockey Arena? That was cool. One thing that will really help this franchise is the popularity of soccer here. The fans where patient enough to appreciate good passing and the beauty of good shots and saves. For that I'm grateful.
  4. I have a .gif I would like to edit. What programs do y'all use?
  5. In was at the inaugural game last night. Imagine 5,500 fans and about 300 know a high stick from a highball. 85 degrees outside and it's not the Stanley Cup finals. I saw a XXL Blackhawk Roenick jersey on a guy who was stretching it waaaay out. Still it looked good. It was better than decent hockey with almost everyone waiting for the fights. I put the play at better than college, but under the IHL. The CHL has an interesting tie breaker format. Step 1. 5 minutes of 4 on 4 hockey Step 2. 5 penalty shots per team Step 3. I have no idea we lost 2-1 in the second tie breaker. Key moments of cluelessness "why do we only have 4 players out there and they have 5?" after they just announced 2 minutes for holding "why do they keep playing that Art's Automotive Icing commercial and bringing the ball thingy back to the other end" "What! it's not over; they play another 20 minutes?" Part 1 "What! it's not over; they play another 20 minutes?" Part 2 "What the hells an overtime? I want to go home now. You promised me this would be fun" The guy behind me pretending to be a hockey expert to his girlfriend. "That's a slapshot, look another shift change, that's the Zapruder." Finally I said. "That was a wrist shot, its a line change, and Zapruder filmed the Kennedy assasination, that's a Zamboni. Named after Frank Zamboni who invented the thing." Finally we're down to our last penalty shot in the tie breaker. We're losing 2-1. If he makes it, we don't lose (what happens I still don't have a clue) if he gets stopped we lose. Myself and about a dozen guys (all seemingly wearing NHL apparel) stand up and start cheering. People are asking why were standing This is going to be a long season. On the plus size, $16 tickets put me in about the 15 row, at the red line. Parking was $4 and beer was $6.50. 2 out of three isn't bad but $6.50 for Bud :fyou

Not ignoring me? You responded to every post. I'm sorry I feel like a little kid making the baboon mad at the zoo. Look kids the baboon is throwing his feces! BTW corg, I know all your suggestions regarding anal self penetration is your way to sharing a special time, but it's a waste of your time, I'm committed to a male-female relationship. But is it wrong for corg? I don't think so. I don't believe for a minute you really get all mad like you try to appear. You enjoy the exchange and you are very good at it. If you really got that upset you would have stopped coming on mlb and this board a long time ago. Thank you for the entertainment, I've enjoyed it. If you really do get that upset you really do need to find a way to relax. By the way tell Jerry I said hello. Do you get a chance to talk with Bud when he's in Milwaukee? A number of years ago I leased a couple cars from him ( actually his company) and both times my sales rep let us have Bud's seats near the visitors on deck circle. Very nice. Perhaps he'll let you have them sometimes. My favorite memory sitting in those seats, was Ozzie Guillen, after grounding out for the third time, throwing his helmet into the dugout and screaming F*ck this Mother F*cking Game! His english is very good. I'll let you have the last word. Have a Great Weekend!

LOL Thank you for putting a little thought into it. I was feeling bad that you would spend so much time attacking others and kind of ignoring me. I assumed it was like a rattlesnake conserving his venom. You knoew I wasn;t food so used it on lother attacks. I'll talk to you later corg, this has gotten boring. Have a nice day. this guy cracks me up.
  8. How do you plead? Not guilty. Summation: If the lawyer aint hit; you must aquit Bad tackle. He went too high. If the alledged gunman had ducked the security guard may have missed. He should have wrapped the legs and drove the guy to the ground.
  9. Anyone want to give some props to Les Paul
  10. My guess as well. I'm more confident in Mark winning 18 than Estaban winning 14. Too often players think that now that they have won or did X that they somehow need to make chances. Think about all the golfers that win a major then flop. With the talent in our system I'm hoping for a Dontrel Willis type happening in the 4th or 5th spot. I'm not happy with the almost certain losing of Colon.

Good Morning Corg, I see you were a bad boy while the Doctor was away and the mature people had to put away your toys. Try and be calm, it will be ok. That's what the anger management therapist has been working with you on. Some kids just don't understand an on line persona. You can make yourself anything you'd like to be. Retired, military with a woman. Sure whatever floats your boat. I still picture you as younger and probably female who doesn't like men from all your anal references. I'm still amazed that you can make anyone upset. If this isn't an act I feel very sorry for you. I can't believe you have someone to talk to other than on line. You seem a very lonely and sad individual with a lot of anger issues. You suggest to me several times that I do an impossible sexual act and call others immature. I tried to be satirical, perhaps a but witty, but never personal, I believe even you can tell the difference. I joked about the persona you've so carefully tried to create. As far as you talking to Eddie, Jerry, Frank and others I have no doubt you are hearing voices in your head. Maybe you should get them checked out. Seriously, have you checked out any of the emails offering discount psychological drugs? Perhaps the self medication route you're trying isn't working. Since I solved that constipation problem for you; perhaps this will also help But then again you may already have it bookmarked http://www.psychiatry24x7.com I found this on their site Up to 75% of schizophrenia patients don't take their medication regularly or stop treatment altogether. This often leads to return of symptoms, which can result in extreme distress, irrational behaviour and rehospitalisation. New long-acting medication can help maintain treatment and lead to more consistent therapy. God Bless you corg, I hope you get the help you need.
  12. That's damn funny One overlooked fact is who influenced who. How many rockers point to blues as influential yet I didn't see any blues artists listed. I read somewhere (The Love You Take possibly) that John and Paul were influenced by Poco Harem. Should they be mentioned by default as an influence on THE INFLUENCE? And when we talk about the Beatles as being influencial, I really believe we mean John and Paul. I believe it was more the songwriting and downplay Ringo and George. I think they still would have been just as good with the better looking Ed Best on drums. Personally I don't think most of these bands and artists credited would have been anything without their parents f***ing them up.
  13. Should that have been SURPRISE

The thing I like most about corg's posts are you never can tell who he/she really is. At first I was guessing 20 year old guy, then an older woman. Now I'm thinking mid 30s, probably needs to get some exercise, probably lives alone, possibly with a cat or small dog. Career wise I'm guessing something in construction, maybe a contractor. Or a college professor. Wouldn't it be funny if he is Moronotti! Of course with a little research anyone could find out the persona he's trying to create for himself. Minority owner of the Sox, talks with the players, hangs with Jerry, etc. I am always entertained my corg, but could see some people getting upset if they thought he was serious. What is unfair to corg is posters here and other places he's been, seem to be very intolerant of his posts. As soon as he pokes a little fun a bunch of people jump on his back. Of course no matter how harshly he's treated he always comes back. I wish he'd do a song for Scottie Pippen. Maybe a parody of the old Welcome Back Kotter theme.
  15. That was pre-band. That was when you could join the insane coho lips and get a membership card and black Loop t-shirts were very cool. I always felt Dahl took too much of the blame for disco demolition. The organization approved the event and he followed the script exactly as planned. Of course it was probably the best thing possible for his career. I thought I checked once before but I believe it was one of the top 3 crowds that season and the largest for a double header in 10 years. What was Brandmeier's band?

  21. The financial side of baseball hinges on two different views of the league. One is of numerous independent entitites (teams) in a competition. This would be analogous to Coke, Pepsi, RC, etc. That is the common thought and IMHO ~ wrong. Baseball stages a series of entertainment events around the country and hires performers to go on this road show. While Coke could survive very well without Pepsi, the Yankees can't survive without competitive teams to play. They would wind up looking like the Harlem Globe Trotters. What is the best way to insure competitiveness? One way is like WW whatever wrestling and script the results. Not very satisfying and baseball would loose fans. They could eliminate city names; no home vs. away, just like the circus comes to town. Not a good idea either. So they need to distribute the talent evenly around the league. A draft worked well for a long time but Curt Flood and the players changed that. Now we have teams that might draft well, develop talent better than anyone, and in the end they get screwed by the richer teams. One suggestion is an annual player dispersal draft. You can protect X number of players off of your 25 man roster. Maybe 10 or 15. The rest are drafted in a even draft. First pick in round 1 gets last pick in round 2, then first pick in round 3, etc. Some sort of salary cap and salary minimum. Remember the goal is to have competition. It doesn't help if a cheap owner doesn't spend anything. Single payer system. MLB pays all the players and some mechanism is in place to fairly distribute the players. No bidding wars. Now obviously some/most of these schemes would not work, but interesting to think about.

LOL. Corg, your fun. It's too bad others don't realize you don't actually mean any of this. I can't believe some of these people get upset at you. I picture you sitting at the computer just laughing your ass off at their posts. At least that's what I'm doing at yours. Have a great day.

ncorgbl, you critize others spelling yet use a screen name that is spelled wrong. I noticed you asked me about my ass, you mentioned another posters diaper, and perhaps the Tub 0 Goo is actually refers to Colon's backside. May I suggest that during your group session this afternoon you ask the Doctor about anal fixation? The Doctor and the group may have some great insights into your issues. If you are trying to self medicate or work these issues out on your own, search the internet using the word Freud. I'm afraid if you search using anal fixation you'll find some sites that will excite you.

corg lives for that stuff. His best work is very good to great. I'm a Colon supporter and would love to see him stay another 3 or 4 years in Chicago but I still appreciated the effort and humor of corg's parody. When corg is attacking some people it's also some good stuff but only when he puts some effort into it. But when he gets tired or cranky or whatever and resorts to cheap bathroom shots I'm disappointed. Obviously he has some issues that would best be dealt with in therapy. However, therapy is difficult to get if you don't have private insurance or the financial means to pay for it. With government budget cuts even those most deserving and needing the therapy seldom get any. So I guess this is the best thing for him. As humanitarians we should all pitch in and help the nice old man by reading his posts and occasionally giving him targets to attack. So please, for his sake and those around him, let him flame away. And corg if you've managed to read this far you may wish to visit http://www.controllinganger.com/ http://www.constipation-relief.com/
