I reread your question and had a couple more ideas. Can you log on your laptop to the school's network with the same privileges as the lab computers? That should solve it.

I noticed no one has offered any help. I have not used Dreamweaver, so can only offer a general sort of help, and maybe this is too basic. Basically you create the web site on your hard drive and upload it to a server. So it exists in two places. To start with, you need to download all the existing files to your laptop. You also need to keep all directories intact so it mirrors what gets published. I have used various ftp programs to do this, but whomever is hosting the web site probably has an interface to accomplish this. From there it is all using Dreamweaver. Create on the laptop and upload to the server. It may take a little time (minutes) to update, so don't freak out immediately if something doesn't appear correct. Did you receive all the passwords to the website? The host should have those files password protected.

The program I was using to download and save youtube videos is not working. Basically my work blocks youtube, but I need a couple videos to show the national anthem. One of my next lessons is the War of 1812 and I thought showing a traditional anthem, a Blackhawk Anthem from the 1991 All-Star game and Hendrix at Woodstock would solidify me as the coolest teacher. But how can I get youtube to my flash drive?

My main TV is a Sony and I'm happy with it. I also have a 19" Vizio I use as a monitor/TV and that is fine as well. I believe it is getting to the point where the parts are about the same.

Looking over everyone's list, I would like tos ay this about Billy Botch. I can not remember anyone who faced up to dis suckyness with more character and professionalism. As his career went down the s***ter, he didn't hide, he accepted responsibility and was brutally honest at times. Later he started beating up neighbors, but I have to say of all the names mentioned, he's the one I have some empathy and respect for.
