  1. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 10:37 PM) Can't imagine how you could leave MB off. He's number 4 for me. In some of these lists, people only toss in a few names, not an entire 20. Plus, they do not put too much thought into it. So two of those lists may have been only 3 or 4 names.
  2. Perspective. If we were offered a ten game sprint to the playoffs against Minny at the start of the season, we would have greedily taken it. Then if we were given a head start in that sprint, woo woo. Enjoy the games, win or lose playing games this late that actually matter is a blessing. f*** I don't believe that crap. My goodness will they win one f***ing game soon? I could see 1 win this weekend then a sweep, then 1-2 to close out the season.

    Texting and Driving

QUOTE (Shadows @ Sep 19, 2008 -> 02:05 AM) this is why you need to learn how to operate a phone and a vehicle at the same time im always texting/day dreaming/playing with the radio, eating and or drinking while driving and ive never even come close to a f*** up.. Its not that hard He probably hadn't either
  4. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Sep 19, 2008 -> 12:51 AM) The bad guys are using it to hide from the government. And they are looking for them. Not for you and your personal emails. The government makes mistakes all the time, after all it really is just a group of humans. Stuff has a way of happening.
  5. QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 09:42 PM) That doesn't say that they are going to read Balta's emails. I doubt they even know Balta. hey don't have to know him, that's the beauty of this Act. They watch everyone's to catch people. They other way around, finding a reason for a search warrant presumes people are innocent, that is too hard. So they just search millions of emails for patterns, key words, etc. It's the only way to keep our freedoms
  6. QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 09:40 PM) Why are they reading your emails? Patriot Act You got something to hide?
  7. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 09:38 PM) So, just to change gears a bit, who else has a problem with the fact that governor Palin's emails being posted online is a bad thing but the government reading all my emails is a good thing and worthy of the support of both of our presidential candidates? You are a communist sympathizer, community organizer, and terrorist, she's a ®
  8. QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 09:26 PM) You know as well as I that the story will change a hundred times over the next few days as MSM and blogger alike take what little bits or rumor or information they have and run with it. I am not screaming consiracy here or anything. I in no way think that Obama, or anyone working for him had anything to do with this. Someone who is a fan may have, but that remains to be seen. Just referenced that blog because it had numerous links from many different sources so far. Even if this thing totally blew up and McCain was forced to pick a new VP running mate, I would still vote for him. I think there is a responsibility on the part of a running mate to fully disclose all their skeletons. We can't expect the candidates and their staffs to catch everything. IIRC they can not use the CIA, FBI, etc to check out civilians until after the election. So I would be cutting McCain or Obama a lot of slack in that situation. And of course if it was proven the candidate knew and chose to ignore it, then they have to face the voters on that decision.
  9. BTW this reminds me of a aboz thread a couple years back
  10. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 03:26 PM) Hmmm... In a $100 million deal signed in 2006, AIG agreed to become the principle sponsor of the Manchester United soccer team. Congrats Americans! We own a big sponsorship in European soccer!
  11. I don't care. Trot out any of our starters in any order and I think they will do fine, it is the rest of the club that leaves me stunned.
  12. QUOTE (bmags @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 06:57 PM) Damn tex is on top of ze pop culture. Just trying to stay up with you crazy kids
  13. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 08:34 PM) So let me get this straight...we pull our starters, but leave in our two most fragile players in PK and Griffey? If anything, get Swisher in the game and see if he can get some confidence. I've been thinking the same thing.
  14. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 08:25 PM) I know EVERYONE CARES, so I will share. I was able to just nab Price off the wavier wire in fantasy in a keeper league, so I'm thrilled. Something to cheer
  15. This is going to be such a great comeback /putting down the crack pipe
  16. QUOTE (watchtower41 @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 03:03 PM) whoever left Hurt off this list doesn't deserve to be a Sox fan. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 03:09 PM) Maybe it was KW? I had him in my top 10. I can also see a fan who prefers players more like Buerhle. More outgoing, less shy, less brooding.

    Let's Play A Game

YASNY is going to be pissed Pabst
  18. QUOTE (Alpha Dog @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 07:46 PM) Yes, this is a blog, but I am linking to it because it has several links in its story from other blogs, news reports, etc. Seems the 'hacker' may be the son of a Tennesee State rep. (A Dem, if interested) And that he has had a history of mental illness (the son). http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/ Oh thank Goodness, I thought it might have been a Rep or Ind that hacked in Now I'm hoping the dad(D) used some CIA connection and his son as a cover.
  19. Hmm 1-3 in NY then 2-2 0-3 in Minny and finish up 1-2, is 3-7 enough?
  20. Nice Oz was able to get the whole f***ing team in this game
  21. Or We can't use you, but Bill Clinton is really interested in seeing what you can do to help him . . . and so is Hillary
  22. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Sep 18, 2008 -> 06:40 PM) Im assuming something like "Are you out of your f***ing mind" nicely played.
