Okee doke. I think I just misunderstood to what you referring to as feminist crap. Gotcha.

LOL!

Just a question about the "feminist junk" comment. Where in blazes did you come up with that? Some women don't want kids. I'd rather seem them admit that rather than popping a kid out and then not taking care of/loving the child. Myself, I can't wait to have a child, but not all women feel that way. As ChiSoxyGirl said, this sounds like a lack of communication.

QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Jan 18, 2005 -> 10:25 AM) Wtf? First, I respect her decision to not have children due to a career. But Crikey, shouldn't she and her ex have talked about that BEFORE the marriage? It sounds like they are miles apart on their ideas about a family. That's NOT a feminist issue--that's a I have crappy communication with my significant other problem...

QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 17, 2005 -> 04:51 PM) Wow....I guess you LOVE this show. LOL! I was just thinking the same thing.

Lovin' the avatar Tex! I figured the certified letter is the best bet, but just wanted to be certain.

I caught something on one of the news channels about this town. They were showing what short term exposure to this weather could do to every day items (t-shirts, food, etc). Rather interesting to watch, but wouldn't want to feel that kind of cold myself.

I saw that last night. I thought it was originally going to be March for the new episodes. Eh, as long as I can finally see some new Family Guy, I can wait the extra time.

That's cool! Are you at the location near 290 on La Grange just north of Roosevelt? I go past there occastionally (heading home after stopping by Brian's job).

I am not concerned about the deposit, I just want it cancelled. Should I send my cancellation via certified letter? Once they sign it, I could use that as my proof that I am cancelling? Or is there another step that I would need to complete? I've also thought about calling after hours and leaving a message after sending the certified letter.

That was common back when I was in HS. I couldn't understand it then or now. Blech. Back when I was working at the grocery strore, we had people come in that would buy lots of mouthwash and would tell us that it was cheaper than regular alcohol so that is why they drank it. Turned my stomach whenever I heard that.

That happened to me this morning. It said my name at the top and still asked me to login. I did and now it is leaving me alone lol.

I thought moving in with Brian would present challenges as neither of us had a "roommate" before (granted I only lived on my own for a yr and a half before that - was a kind of nomad before then) living together. It has been fairly smooth for us. My breaking point would be a combination of not paying bills on time, leaving messes and eating my food and not replacing it.

That makes one team I cheered for win. I was hoping for a Pats win, but I didn't think they would hold the Colts to 3 points. Wowsers.

Packers May Be Close to Shakeup

Might be, it wouldn't be the first time I missed something lol. Nall looked pretty good in his outting against the bears. I know, they are the Bears, but they have a decent defense? Hey, I tried lol! -
While Brian and I are white, we tend to dress in jeans and t-shirts (beat up looking stuff) because it is comfortable. It's fun going into dealerships, high end electronics stores trying to get help. They take one look and don't stop to help. Going back to when I was 22 and trying to get a new car (first one), my dad went with me to the dealership and the guy kept trying to tell me I couldn't afford the car I was looking at, etc. When I was about to leave he was willing (read: beggin) to sit down and going through financing, figuring he would "show me." When mine and my dad's credit report came back, they were kissing my ass to get me to buy the car. Going back two years ago, Brian and I were looking at digital cameras at best buy. The people in the department kept walking past us to help other customers (we were just back from the Sox Cubs game still in gear). When we couldn't track someone down, we demanded to see the manager. While he was an asshole, he realized what we were looking to buy and was sweet as sugar suddenly. We wanted to leave, but since we found exactly what we were looking for we just bought it and now rarely shop at that location anymore. Point you ask? Just cuz you are white doesn't me you can't be discriminated against.

QUOTE(chi-guy2 @ Jan 13, 2005 -> 09:32 PM) my opinion is that they should draft a qb late third or second round, i dont know if im sold on osullivan and nall's finger problem (i think) worries me Later rounds maybe, but they need defense first and foremost. As for Nall (he was impressive the time I saw him) and O'Sullivan (have yet to see him take a snap, I am sure he has, I just haven't seen it lol), I am willing to give them a try while Favre is still on the team to see what they can do. I thought Pederson and Favre were the ones with finger/thumb problems? -

My sister works at the Walmart that is kind of across the street (across the street and north about 2-3 blocks). My parents, brother and sister heard the explosion and they live about 3 miles away.

While I think the o-line was above average, there were an awful lot of fumbles and missed catches that made Favre look worse than he has been getting. As for Favre, since last playoff season, he has been making some way out there decisions. With everything going on with him, it's not entirely surprising, but I do think it is time to start working Nall or O'Sullivan into the starting QB position. -

I was talking with some Packers fans at work and we are in agreement that we think Farve is at the end of the line. Both back ups look to have much potential so it might be time to slowly bring them into the starting roll. -

I don't think any one person should be coach and GM. I think they need to worry about their defense and Farve before worrying about Sherman though.
