I think there needs to be a max and a min cap. Not so tight that teams can't resign players, but tight enough to prevent teams from pulling a Spankie and going out and buying a team.

What exactly has changed? PayRod changed teams, big deal. We already knew that the Yanks will buy what they want, when they want it and on their terms - nothing new there. They only way it will affect the White Sox is if they make the playoffs. They don't play the Spanks enough to have it make that much of a difference. IMHO, this division will be one by the team that dominates this division.

They have been on the rise for about a month now and according to my loan officer/cousin he said they look to be going up, slowly, but upwards none the less. (refinancing my mortgage, that's the only reason I know, lol)

I understand your view, but Greenspan's confuses me a bit. I hear about more and more companies laying off/shutting their doors (another company near my house recently shut down) and people still not able to find steady work, but yet I hear the economy is getting better. I just haven't seen this 'better' yet, but I am certainly waiting for it.

I was referring to the fact that at the time he had an opportunity to go to a winning team for less dollars and he chose the dollars. Now he gets dollars and a winning team which stinks. But I do understand where you are coming from though.

The insigator rule cracks me up because it is enforced when the officiating wants to enforce it. I think they should be able to settle a score. For me, a good example of being able to settle something would be Canes-Caps (the ongoing Doig-Adams (now both Craig and Kevyn are involved in it). Then again those guys really hate each other...

I agree. It's less expensive and a hell of a lot more fun. Then again, I love hockey at any level - UHL, ECHL, AHL and NHL (I know there are other levels, but I have seen the EC, A and N level teams play and follow the scores of the U). I am sorry to say that I didn't get to enjoy the IHL before they disbanded. No one in my family was/is a hockey fan so I didn't get into it until 2000/2001. I love watching the Wolves play. And sorry, all the fights are not staged. There is some genuine hate there between the Wolves and a couple teams, especially the Griffs.
