I know exactly what you mean. Between the Sox not doing much in the offseason, the Canes sucking (and then getting undeservedly fined), a possible non-season next year for the NHL, the Cincy Cyclones losing like crazy, Jeff B not getting a full-time sponsor and then having his engine blow on lap 27 ( :fyou to Roush-Yates engine builders ) and the Cubs looking decent for the upcoming season, there isn't much I am not ho-hum about. Except maybe the Sens of course !

The part of this that bothers me the most is that ARod isn't being made to sleep in the bed he made, so to speak. He wanted the dollars at got them at a cost to the team he played for - that was his choice. Now a few years down the road he realizes his mistake but yet he doesn't have to deal with the consequences - that, to me, is what stinks the most about this whole deal.

But it sure seems to help getting them there! I guess the reason I am not disgusted is because I expected something like this to happen. I will still watch baseball, but I don't think my heart will be in it as it previously was.

With Brian working the entire weekend, I spent Valentine's by myself - a nice hot bath and a couple books.

Damn. I thought I was depressed with Brian working so much, the Daytona 500 (Roush can shove his freaking engines where the sun don't shine and NASCAR can shove Jr there as well), some crap that went on between the Canes and Caps (here's a great big :fyou to you NHL commish) and the fact the ECHL team that I follow hasn't won since the last ice age. The idea of the Cubs winning it all makes it just that much worse. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!

My dad has to inject insulin on a daily basis. I never thought he'd keep up with it, but here it is 6+ years later and he does it. Brian is 6'1 - 6'2 and weighs somewhere between 170 and 180 now (when we first met he was somewhere around 135-140) and he still looks underweight. I guess it is in how you carry your weight. Glad to see you are back and the things that are not perfect can be remedied. We missed ya!

Then they are changing their tune from the last two or three reports issued. It was reported that he was talking last night and I read somewhere that you can't talk if it is shattered. lol - nothing to be sorry about. Like I said, the teachings might have changed since I last went to church regularly (it's been about 10 years now). But what I typed was generally what was pounded into our heads in grammar school (high school taught more spirituality and morality rather than bible study after freshman year).

I set my computer up to notify me when there are critical updates, but I also check in every few weeks or so just in case.
