Just saw this and I don't know if you already bought for her but an idea is a journal, tea (herbal, regular or coffee, if she likes any of the above) and a bathset. It will help to relax her and she can record her thoughts and maybe send them in a letter to him from time to time.
  3. Can't stand the Eagles and I also tend to have an affinity for Carolina teams, so go Panthers!
  4. Exactly. IIRC, that happened in a playoff (maybe a finals?) game when a measurement was called on Hasek.
  5. I am hoping for the best, but preparing for the worst.
  6. CW is a big Frank Thomas fan so I would imagine that is exactly what he would want.

No kididng! There was a picture of her on some magazine that I saw on the stands on Wednesday and all I can say is NASTY! :puke

Not the pictures I've seen recently. The pictures that I saw she was really bony, especially her face. Oh well, to each their own.
  9. If they didn't have some idea/inclination that something was about to happen, then our 'intelligence' agencies were/are worthless.

She was pretty in 'Mask,' but her lack of eating makes her look horrid (will someone please donate a burger to her cause). She also needs to keep her yap shut - she says too many stupid things.

  12. The way the raiders were playing, I probably would have as well. lol

This happened to my future mother-in-law when she moved back from Toledo. I didn't know a state could do that - effectively charge you twice for sales tax. You only bought one car, why should you pay sales tax twice?

I walked out on a place that tried that crap with me. I ended up getting the same car elsewhere for an even better price. I guess Ford must have seen that in the credit check because they ended up contacting me afterwards. Not that tell them what happened would change anything, but it was good that they noticed something strange.

The ticker on ESPN during the Canes ( ) game yesterday said he has arthritus in his knee. I can tell you from experience arthritus in the knee is a b**** and a half.

Mercury! I have a 2002 Cougar and I luv that thing. Brian's current Mercurys are: 1969 Marauder X100 (a really huge 2 door) 1970 Montego 1971 Cyclone GT 1981 Capri (a 10 second car) 1986 Capri and a 1970 project car that will be a Cyclone again some day. His current Fords are: 2001 Mustang Gt 1989 Ford F-250 with an extended cab (it kicks ass - it's great fun to drive).
  17. If Brian has any hard stuff, it's vodka, which I can't stand. Somehow this past New Year's Eve, he managed to get me to do a shot of it...YUCK! He used to like Jack, but he drank too much at his brother's bachelor's party and ended up with alcohol poisoning because of it so now he won't even look at the bottle much less take a shot.
  18. I'm 4.5 years younger than Brian. It cracks me up to think about how I was in 8th grade when he was graduating high school. I really don't think there is anything wrong with 17 and 21, but then again I was dating a 21 (just a few months shy of 22) when I was 18. I guess the difference between 17 and 18 makes all the difference, legally speaking of course.
  19. For me, folding is the best part...not sure why I think that, but I do. Don't get me wrong, Brian can do laundry, he just hates doing it so much that he often doesn't pay attention to what he is doing (whala - pink socks and undies)! and as for "unless the entire washing, drying and folding/hanging is considered "doing laundry.", yeah that's what I meant by 'doing the laundry.'
  20. No, not that simple. But my point is that if it were up to him to do the laundry, it would either not get done until we were wearing the last piece of clothing we owned and then when he would do it, he would over-load the maching and the clothes wouldn't get clean (this happened all the time before I started doing his laundry).
  21. I couldn't even tell you how many times a Dominick's, Cub or Jewel bag has fallen apart on me while I was trying to get it into the house. Who knew that I coulda sued all these times...
  22. Brian and I split the household cleaning chores. I do the laundry and cook - otherwise we'd end up naked and hungry.
