  1. If it is an actual drawing instead of a silhouette, you can always do a couple lions tearing the flesh off of a wildebeest or antelope.
  2. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ May 17, 2013 -> 09:41 AM) those are bold numbers No 59 210 89 5 48 Those are bold numbers
  3. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 17, 2013 -> 09:28 AM) My sophomore roommate turned to selling pot to raise funds for his drinking tickets. Good to see the system of giving out drinking tickets kept the streets safer and cleaner.
  4. It's video of a guy eating cotton candy, but in reverse. I love it

  6. My cat and dog. The cat will jump on the counter, eat what she wants out of the brownies/cookies/bread/drugs, and then knocks it off the counter so the dog can eat his share.

  8. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 17, 2013 -> 08:07 AM) Not terrible, just below average...terrible would be this year's offense the first 6 weeks of the season. Missing Thomas for most of the year made a huge difference. You're right, I just get upset when people talk about the offense as a reason that team won. It was pitching, defense, and timely hitting. They couldn't lose a close game that year. Oh, and that 52-22 record against the Central helped too...maybe they should try that again sometime soon.
  9. QUOTE (SI1020 @ May 16, 2013 -> 06:28 PM) I could not possibly disagree with you more. You just can't look at as Lee the fearsome hitter vs Podsednik the weak armed slap hitting outfielder. 2005 was the only year in recent and not so recent history that the Sox didn't have an all or nothing approach to offense. Yeah they hit a ton of homers but they got off to that great start with Pods and Iguchi leading the way. Didn't they take the lead in the first 37 games that year? Podsednik totally changed the dynamic and it's no coincidence that they struggled when he started having his injury problems. Like Caufield mentioned the Podsednik trade opened up the other possibilities and fortunately Kenny was at the top of his game. Scott Podsednik is a big reason why I refuse to become a stat slave to WAR. Kenny doesn't make that trade and we're looking at 95 years and counting. They got off to a great start and won the division because of pitching. They were great with RISP and getting clutch hits, but that offense was absolutely terrible.
  10. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 16, 2013 -> 02:59 PM) KC Johnson confirms Derrick's return!!!!!!!! You do understand that by "next year," he is literally referring to the year 2014. He's still going to miss the first 2+ months of the season.
  11. Seriously, the more and more time passes, the more I put faith into what Law says.
  12. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 16, 2013 -> 12:42 PM) I don't know. If I told you the Bulls could add a 25 year old MVP candidate to a roster that made the 2nd round of the playoffs - how would you rate their chances? D-Wade won't be a factor next year - hell, he's not one now. The East is a joke. Thibs seems finally at the point where he's no longer going to fall in line and allow the Bulls to pawn off guys like Rip as the answer. I'm guessing a big move will be made this summer. Because I know you and your track record so well, I'm going to assume the Bulls will add Sasha Vujacic and call it an offseason.
  13. QUOTE (CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ May 16, 2013 -> 02:32 PM) I'm so sick of reading about rebuilding . Let's get back in contention and quiet all this rebuild stuff. If this post were a person, I'd hump it
  14. I do the 4 beer thing too, but I will do 5 if I am somewhere for 4-5 hours. Regarding that gray area of should I or shouldn't I...I basically will imagine myself behind the wheel, and if I question myself whatsoever, I find a ride.
  15. QUOTE (Soxbadger @ May 16, 2013 -> 12:10 PM) Then all NFL/NCAA games should be indoors. No reason why it cant be like arena league. Bears game in December, gone. Packers game in January, gone. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, it just seems pretty hypocritical the stance Alvarez is specifically taking, as his team has an outdoor stadium. There is more of a spectacle and allure to championship games and ignoring that and comparing the first game or a conference road game to that is silly. You have the two best teams from fill in the blank and, personally, I want to see the talent determine the better team that day. I don't want to see weather become such a determining factor that it outweighs the talent. It's quite apparent I'm not alone.
  16. QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ May 16, 2013 -> 12:06 PM) Welcome to the world of evaluating 16 year olds. How much can you really tell from a kid that age? How much they hate their parents
  17. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 16, 2013 -> 11:59 AM) I've never, ever understood why some people do that. "Hey, you're blitzed, I'm sober, but you drive!" Can't drive a stick shift and/or won't drive a large vehicle. Those are really the only reasons I can ever imagine, and those are bad reasons.
  18. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ May 16, 2013 -> 11:57 AM) Then I'd have to stop what I'm doing with my other hand . . . was it: A. Picking his nose B. Jacking off C. Pointing out the hot sauce stain his maid missed TEXT YOUR ANSWERS IN NOW
  19. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 16, 2013 -> 11:34 AM) http://sports.yahoo.com/blogs/mlb-big-leag...-232521671.html Should Mariano Rivera START the All-Star Game? I know, this is MLB Catch-All, but someone commented about the Yankees and their patchwork line-up. Can't believe he's going to retire after fighting to come back from the knee and he's still the best reliever in the game at his age. Or will it be another Andy Pettite/Roger Clemens situation where he keeps coming back? We've done everything we can.

  21. QUOTE (pittshoganerkoff @ May 16, 2013 -> 11:03 AM) I didn't realize how good Peavy has been this year. If the Sox are out of it come the trade deadline, does he get traded? And if so, what kind of return could he get? It is certainly a possibility. Also, I have to imagine they'd get quite a bit in return. He's signed to a very friendly contract.
  22. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 16, 2013 -> 10:16 AM) Jarron: I love that so much.
  23. QUOTE (iamshack @ May 16, 2013 -> 10:11 AM) Not that there is anything wrong with that! Jason Collins approves this message
