Sheets is horrible to watch when he's on a cold streak... because you just know that outfield defense will reach out and bite them. Zavala had his one decent 3/4 season of offense and now that has evaporated, too. Better score here.

Well, even bigger problem is that we don't even have a potential fifth starter with Martin out.

At least we don't have to watch Abreu for another three seasons on that contract. The one big blessing so far.

Have to feel for all those fans waiting out a two hour rain delay in this weather for such a terrible game.

Arozarena made one of the best catches this season in LF. Beni's no Randy.

102/104 season and career highs for IP. Looked like a sure fire 3-0 lead if not for cold weather.

Wright just completely fell apart after all of his injury problems.

Marcus Semien leading the AL in RBIs on the road. Would be nice to have about right now. Santos warming.

Six walks. Here comes the bullpen.

Except he somehow managed a 2.8 fWAR last year.

Ties season high in walks at five with start against Minny.

Only way to get rid of Benintendi is a new GM who's not invested in proving everyone he was correct to sign him in the first place.

Seems all the players just want to get this one over and go home as quickly as possible.

Not even close to warning track power.

No hitter at this point still. Sounds familiar. Maybe has 2 more innings left in his start. Classic manufactured run there.

4th start with 4 or more walks... Julks can't be getting second that easily.

Ian Hamilton ERA down to 1.29. Throwing 98.

Yuck/ick...

Rain delay already...

AJ Pollock .138/574 Benintendi a huge improvement?

You have to feel for the concessions workers who rely on tips and theoretically happy/happier fans spending...or not.

Which means they might as well just go ahead and trade Vaughn/Kopech... which only leaves Cease and Robert of the core.

https://www.baseballamerica.com/stories/2021-22-international-reviews-miami-marlins/ We need to hire all these guys away from the Marlins or get Kim Ng to recruit them to Chicago. Eury Perez 20 years old 27 days debuting today, #10 MiLB prospect Sandy Alcantara, Sixto Sanchez, Jorge Lopez, Jose Fernandez, etc. We haven't had signing classes of 50-60 players out of Latin America if you added up Paddy's entire tenure.
