The greater point here isn’t about politics at all, but simply that there has to be two sides to have an argument or debate, but emotions/passions inevitably get in the way of reasonable discourse just as they do with serious real world topics. The only commonality between politics and SoxTalk is a poster openly admitting they hate me and the poster you are engaged with here…partially for being “dark clouds.” Except that same notion absolutely destroyed WSI, if you will kindly remember 10 or 15 years ago. That if you didn’t parrot the groupthink adulation for the front office and ownership group…well, there wasn’t a welcoming place for you there at their site. Now it’s reached the polar opposite side. But isn’t it better to agree to disagree than to let things get to the point of outright hatred on a sports-related message board?
