Shouldn't he in theory have the best extension in the game at that height...like Gio did? Giolito had that significant differential from fb to change though. That would make his fastball play up a notch or two. Seems his delivery just isn't maximized for that, or simply puts too much torque/pressure on his knees.

They want to compete this year...they're not trading for Schultz. Long term/big picture him or Hagen makes sense for SD with their lack of pitching depth, but would need more than one of them at this point. Think another team will offer more than Sox are willing to give up. Not a shocker.
