baseballsavant.comStatcast Expected wOBA, xBA, xSLGBaseball SavantExpected outcome stat is interesting... Vargas 8th in mlb. Antonacci second on the White Sox...then Murakami and Grichuk. Kolson way way down near the bottom for the team. Didn't anticipate Braden actually being ahead of Peters. And Meidroth was pretty low as well.

really would have been 3 1/2 with tiebreaker now 1 1/2 lose next two and technically tied with nine left to go

Brazoban down there as well gave up a run in 4-2 loss

Thorpe 4.1 3 2 2 4 3 0 2.79

Walk him to face Doyle or Braden??? okay that's some strange logic there

Phantom dl for forearm strain/overusage by nym/general ineffectiveness...

WIL he or won't he? Princeton education says no, not if he wants another job in baseball. Quitting on your team with 11 games remaining would be absolutely unforgivable...unless he had a health emergency.

Tigers have now won 7/8 to go from 65-78 to 72-79 K.Montero pitches tmrw afternoon vs Blue Jays (-2) in a critical game for TOR Max Scherzer looking to avoid getting battered like 7+ ERA starter Lorenzen on Tuesday...his last outing did not go well to say the least The White Sox should see Framber Valdez LHP Thurs then Tigers will have to decide whether or not to use another LHP in AAAA/spot starter Andrew Sears (LHP) that could push Jobe and Melton back to Sat and Sunday otherwise, it would be Valdez, Jobe RHP, Melton RHP, Drew Anderson RHP...which is their new regular five man rotation after trading Skubal and Mize away knowing Hinch, expect they will go to the two lefties to keep White Sox back on their heels and Venable running out crazy lineups Sears gave up 3 in 4+ to Royals on Saturday in first appearance back from AAA

Kwan is one of the hottest hitters in baseball the last two months also lhb against Taylor retire Bailey and you don't have to face either guy there

Next up, Bonemer in LF or RF... this goes back to days of forcing Josh Fields Viciedo Teahen into the outfield. oh yeah Vaughn Palka and Sheets

"Rocchio had other plans. The 25-year-old, who has earned the "Rocctember" and "Playoff Rocchio" monikers for his clutch performances this time of year in recent seasons, delivered yet another big swing that may have saved the Guardians’ division title chances." Against the most famous clutch hitter in baseball this season...

Now the Rangers are just 2 GB

Bring Terry Bevington back. Still alive? Jerry Manuel was a genius compared to this, both him and Torborg.

668 against rhp much better against lefties 710 ops overall with all those XB hits is crazy but just doesn't walk enough that's said he has a terrible recent streak of plate appearances going now for 2-3 weeks plus all the defensive misplays

Vargas to first Meidroth SS Antonacci 2B Grichuk in LF or RF? Doyle and Peters again?

Rather have Jerry Kutzler Salome Barojas Ernesto Escarrega throw in Jamie Navarro for good measure too

312 playoff ticket hotline must have gone dead silent from 6-4 lead to 7-6 reversal in about an hour

Back on the Kolson "bandwagon"? Also hitting around .100 during this stretch at least he's more of a threat than Braden

It will be Kay then Fedde against DET theoretically Sandlin next

https://www.espn.com/mlb/player/gamelog/_/id/35124/luis-castillo guess you're right short outing on Saturday after getting extra test supposedly 61 pitches game Grichuk saved late so Thursday would be his slot but maybe going Sandlin as well as Kay/Fedde who the hell knows anymore after tonight's case study in inexperienced managerial decisions

it's his turn? they will pitch him Thursday vs. Detroit then?

That seems totally out of character for a Japanese player...it's always team first attitudes, as long as the team wins, that's all that matters sacrifice for common goal, etc.

Kay Fedde Castillo vs Messick you're going to beat their LH All Star three times in a season with the bullpen basically wiped out??? but no not Cade Smith they hardly made him work

Two corner outfielders who don't belong in those spots no closer Mune and Kolson both heading for sub 200 finishes Murakami would have 255 k's at his normal season pace Vargas eying massive free agency payoff that absolutely won't come from JR

Murphy's Law, shouldn't you learn from previous mistakes and not repeat them? guess it's the school of hard knocks
