What did she do now?

That's why the Caglianone choice burns a little. He's already the #20th ranked prospect in baseball, and it's the perfect time for the Sox to change 1B over anyway with Vaughn moving on/out. This year, there's three more LHP prospects sitting around the #9-11 spots.

Bogaerts had a (previously) consistent 800-825 OPS record, but the biggest hesitation there should have been that he was no longer really an everyday SS in terms of fielding metrics, and you can't give out contracts like the Padres did for a 2B who now looks a lot closer to a 700-750 OPS hitter than in his prime with the Red Sox.. They ended up blocking the much cheaper/younger Jackson Merrill as a result, tying up tons of future money in years where he will be another version of Albert Pujols or Miguel Cabrera at his current rate of injuries. Fault lies with Preller getting desperate to add another premium FA when it became apparent Judge was never going to leave for SF or SD. Unforced error.

When we play teams in the AL Central, should have been the modifier. 2-11.

https://www.teamrankings.com/mlb/stat/runs-per-game Should be right in between the Angels and Blue Jays for runs scored per game...3.54 KC is 27th at 3.43 rpg. This game will actually lower that number.

Estevez time...??? I guess this is what we've come to expect with the White Sox offense for 2025 (except for the occasional 7-11 scoring outburst once every 5-6 games). Unfortunately, it doesn't get much easier with Lugo, Wacha and Bubic's 1.98 ERA on deck the next three games.

On GameDay mobile phone, it's hard to imagine it NOT being one, but I guess it was a miracle/unexpected catch. The problem is that runs are so scarce in this environment, you have to always be overly aggressive and try to put yourself in scoring position whenever you have the chance.

At least Freeman can throw the ball pretty hard...whether he can control it or not is the question.

More base running blunders...can't afford that when they can barely get guys on.

How can they manage to add Smith, Vasil, Booser, etc., and they can't find ONE single position player in the same manner?

Get Gray Elko Julks Drury Teel ANYONE else up...damn the roster management consequences. They need to generate some offense from the Amaya and Palacios spots in the roster.

Rains coming off an injury being careful with him

best you can hope for there 2/5=3.6 era is fine

up steps Sox killer Perez

had to pitch to Witt Jr. not a surprising result

72 pitches typical trouble zone for Smith

still just a 46-116 pace if they lost this game Ragans might get K record at this rate

Why not at DP depth? Bunt lol? Not with how Garcia has been hitting.

Jinxed lol.

https://www.mlb.com/stats/pitching/era?sortState=asc Shane Smith 8th overall in mlb ERA Kris Bubic right there as well

MLB has put out their updated draft list 1. Holliday 2. Seth Hernandez 3. Jamie Arnold 4. Eli Willits 5. Aiva Arquette 6. Billy Carlson 7. Jace LaViolette 8. Kyson Witherspoon 9. Kade Anderson LHP 10. Liam Doyle LHP 11. Kruz Schoolcraft LHP (cool name at least, "you just got schooled," etc.) 12. Marek Houston 13. Steele Hall (not after already taking Steele Walker high) 14. JoJo Parker 15. Kayson Cunningham 16. Gavin Kilen 17. Tyler Bremner 18. Daniel Pierce 19. Luke Stevenson 20. Ike Irish (could sell some St. Patrick's Day green Sox hats, lol)

Moises Alou reference?

Nick Maton had potential as a DH lol? Palacios with his career 660ish ops? Your what hurts? C'mon Sox, let's get real!!!

Yes...it's the Grandal Benintendi Keuchel Shields Melky LaRoche Lynn Kelly Graveman Parrot Tier B veteran that gets you killed 7-8 times out of 10. Profar worked out last year as he was clearly cheating...and pure bargain hunting there.
