  1. Have to get him off the field...but that means playing 3-4 more DHs on the field somewhere else.
  2. So the problem is systemic, arguably. Players don't learn to trust each other because you're constantly churning players in from other organizations and the talent level has been so low they're already acclimated to losing at the minor league level.
  3. Dairon Blanco goes from 12 to 19 rbis not even on most Royals' fans bingo cards.
  4. Sosa's just never going to get there...is he? Meanwhile, stellar base running. Was Sheets going to score even if that ball punches through? Unlikely.
  5. Obviously concerned AA/AAA players were just going to get overwhelmed. Not Getz's fault on the development side though.
  6. A couple of years ago every other sentence was "that's a professional at bat right there." Albeit a pretty rare occurence.
  7. Great defensive fundamentals. Was 2012 their last above average season defensively?
  8. Edman for 2nd half MVP. Kopech LAD 8.333 IP 0 ER 13 k's

As long as he doesn't get hurt with this new 4 IP 55-70 pitches plan. Then Getz will simply be eviscerated by the fanbase.
  10. Down goes Glasnow, following right on the heels of Ryan. Optimistic on Matsumoto. Buehler is anyone’s guess.
  11. Shockingly, Moncada just decided not to be around him the entire season and simply collect his $29 million. on second thought, without Grandal around any longer, totally predictable
  12. That’s completely old school baseball…having to be around the park all day long. Thought that ended with Joe Maddon, lol. Skip Schumaker comes from that same old TLR coaching tree with McEwing. Grady seems more like Baldelli or Gabe or even Gordon himself. basically too controlling, micromanaging, the opposite of Renteria as player’s manager…somehow best friends with Eduardo Perez, but I always felt Eduardo had a much better sense of humor and knew how to make fun of himself and blend in seamlessly
  13. Mayo really struggled in his debut too. Jury is still out on Holliday, but Witt Jr. is the path they should be (hopefully, for them) comparing to. And then Basallo has some legit concerns sticking at catcher, and his ultimate position. That said, Cowser Westburg and Ortiz all had their moments in the big leagues. Kjerstad, another one who’s interesting but limited on D. Overall, Henderson was seemingly underrated (top 3-5 in MLB) and Rutschman the opposite or just having a down year. That’s a helluva lot of offensive talent, if just 1/3rd hits. But now Grayson is hurt yet again (out indefinitely), holes in the bullpen and Burnes getting hit around as well.
  14. Baldwin and Fletcher both at .214. 45 losses for the Sox in games which they've held a lead. 20 losses when leading after 6. Both MLB leading. 2 remaining saves on the roster after Trade Deadline by Brebbia.
  15. Batters 1 for their last 21 against Anderson.
  16. Crazy thing is Caminero might eventually be better and can soak up the money previously earmarked for Franco.
  17. -1.4 career fWAR with the Eloy Jimenez defensive profile.

  20. Can you think of a more disappointing #1 overall prospect in the game since Brien Taylor?
  21. He knew how to pull out a Top 10 or Top 100 list…but Cease Robert (not a trade) remain his main claims to fame. Giolito and Reynaldo…the latter not so much with the Sox. Moncada Jimenez Kopech and now Robert have been so disappointing it negated all the positives. Anderson yet another. Just look at all the ex Sox players littered around baseball. You could have 1-2 All Star teams while the White Sox legitimately have just one currently fading star in Crochet, period.
  22. Can it be ANY worse than what the organization is doing right now outside of Sizemore and Bannister?
  23. Kopech ERA almost back down below 4.
  24. Not exactly revenge for Ventura on Nolan Ryan to inflict White Sox purgatory on him…River Ryan is Nolan’s son Reid Ryan’s (Astros President) son. Saw Reid pitch in the Sally League for Charleston.
