NIU Football fans?
I'm not a NIU fan, but I do root for them and like to see them do well.

things i like for 04 things i like for 05
That's not gonna be found in free agency, so we'd have to trade for one. And, how many leadoff SS are gonna be available through trade? Probably none. I think we're gonna have Harris still leading off next year, which is fine with me b/c I think next year Harris will break out since he'll have a full year of major league baseball under his belt.

Prospects the prospered
I don't think it will. I mean, we can't go forever without developing a CF'er, can we? Plus, Anderson is just a badass!

Does anybody still have hope?
There's no way I'm out.

With the Bevy of Trades
Yeah, well I was kinda confused about the years. I am counting 2004 as year 1, 2005 as year 2, and 2006 as year 3...

Sweet, I've only heard about it from 2 people, and both have said it's really funny! I can't wait until tomorrow night.

HOLY FUCK! BMac K's 16
Hmm... Chances are that it'll be easier for my avatar to make him suck than it to make him awesome, so I'm gonna give it one more chance. If he's does poorly in his next outing, then I'll take it out. If he does well, I'm leaving it in.

2005 possible free agent list
I agree with getting a leadoff hitter that can play a middle infield position. Can Christian Guzman leadoff 'cause if so, he'd be a good pickup at SS. Also, I said I'd like getting a SP but on 2nd thought, I'm perfectly happy with Buehrle, Garcia, Contreras, Garland, and Diaz, as long as we can fix Contreras' tipping pitches problem.

Pitching Statistics for Contreras
He started sucking before we traded Olivo, though...

The Village
This is the type of thing that I've been hearing about this movie. Not worth the money to see in the theater. Btw, has anyone seen Napoleon Dynamite? I'm gonna go see that tomorrow night, so I hope it's good.

HOLY FUCK! BMac K's 16
When he pitches a perfect game in his next start, you'll be praising the avatar! Actually, I'm glad that someone actually know's who the player in my avatar is. I'm sure most people that don't follow the minor leagues at all are probably like, "what the f***? why does he have a UCLA player in his avatar?"

Carlos Delgado
Yeah, I'd love to get Cattalanato on this team. If not through a trade this year, then as a free agent in the offseason.

With the Bevy of Trades
I left off BMac 'cause I don't think he'll "contribute" in 3 years. Same for Sweeney. They might be on the big league team, but more than likely Bmac will start off as a reliever like Cotts has and Sweeney will probably not make too much of an impact as a rookie if he is on the 2006 team.

HOLY FUCK! BMac K's 16
He will have a 25/25 year by the end of the season, barring injury...

Carlos Delgado
I wonder who we'd have to give up to get him? Probably not as much as he's worth b/c I'm sure the Blue Jays would be happy to get rid of him for at least something since he'll probably walk at the end of the year anyway.

With the Bevy of Trades
2 years (2005): Joe Borchard Felix Diaz Jeff Bajenaru Josh Stewart 3 years (2006): Brian Anderson Jim Bullard The "other" Josh Fields B.J. LaMura Matt Smith Arnie Munoz (if moved back to the 'pen b/c I don't think he's got much of a future as a starter)

My dad
My prayers go out to you dad, Minny. Just think positively and all will be fine. My dad had cancer 4 years ago, but he's fine now, and even though our dad's had/have different illnesses, I know what you're feeling now.

Music downloads
It might just be your program b/c my Kazaa is working fine, err, I mean, uh, I don't have Kazaa 'cause I don't illegally download songs...

HOLY FUCK! BMac K's 16
Kanny lost 9-8. Schnurstein was 2-3 with a solo HR. Young went 2-4 with a triple and a HR. Valido went 1-4 with 2 runs scored. Whisler got roughed up for 6 runs (4 ER) in 5.2 IP. Fernando Hernandez had a rare bad outing, taking the loss giving up 3 runs (2 ER) in 1.2 IP. Wasserman pitched 1.2 scoreless innings of relief. Kanny Box Bristol won 5-2. Jose De Los Santos was 1-3 with 2 rbi. Allen was 0-3 with an error, something he's doing pretty much daily. James Casey got the start and gave up 2 ER in 3 IP. Yunior Novoa got the win in relief, giving up 0 runs in 5 IP. Bristol Box Great Falls lost 9-5. Ricks was 2-2 with a rbi and 2 bb's. Lucy was 1-4 with a run scored and 2 stolen bases. The 3 pitchers each gave up at least 2 runs. Great Falls Box Other thoughts from today: holy f***in s***, BMac! You're the man! 16 k's and 0 BB's; That's just sick ... Bull had a nice start, with nice relief from Fields... I see that Anderson moved to the #5 spot for Bham, I wonder why?... Valdez added 2 more hits, but still 0 walks... It seems like Munoz just isn't the same pitcher as before his call-up. I think his future as a starter is probably shot, and that he should move back to the 'pen, where he's had much success before... Nice games by both Schnur and Young... Novoa had a great night in relief for Bristol. He's only 19, and good become a very good prospect for us. He started the season as a starter, but has since moved to the 'pen... Fields has another good game, and didn't strikeout. Great to see... My boy Dwayne Pollok picked up his Carolina League-leading 26th save of the year with a scoreless 9th inning...

Loaiza traded to NY, Contreras discussion
I just got home from work about 10 min. ago, and just wanted to say that I love the trade!

2005 possible free agent list
Personally, I think we're fine at 3B. I still like Crede. What we should be going after is another good, reliable reliever and a catcher. Getting another starter would be badass, but I don't think we'll have the money to spend on a top notch starter, so picking up one through a trade is more likely. I'd love picking up Milton, actually, as a free agent, but how much money do y'all think he'll ask for? 7-9 million per year?

Your brushes with greatness
That is awesome! I didn't know that that was the host's name, but I do remember that dude.

Who Are These Guys???
Daigle more than likely won't amount to anything. He'll be a Ross Gload, at the most. However, I don't think he'll even be that good. Wasserman on the other hand could still have a shot at making the majors. He's only 23, so on a perfect time table, he could be in the big leagues by 26, which is still pretty young for a pitcher.

Who Are These Guys???
Here are 2 pics of Wasserman, but it's kinda hard to tell about his delivery just from these.
