we agree there...there was definaltely sick behavior with everyone involved..and if these guys did in fact commit this crime i hope they are charged again and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law...either way..whether it was rape or consenual by the girl , i hope she gets the therapy she needs...because if it was rape then of course she has alot of issues to deal with there..and if it wasnt rape then she's really got problems

president bush has made it clear from the day he stepped into politics that he was pro life... and that position was not going to change...and it hasnt to about 40 to 45% of the population , women's reproductive rights = murder...and those numbers are moving more in our direction...those of us on that side of the fence need to be represented too...as bill clinton said not too long ago at a democratic fund raiser...george bush is only doing what he said he was going to do during his campiagn...cant fault him for that

i think the way to look at this trade (and i should have worded it different in my original post) was not that we shouldnt have made the uribe trade but should we have sent miles or harris to colorado for him??? that was my point of contention at the time the trade was made...i liked getting uribe because w/o tony g. here we had to acquire a utility infielder....but i just felt that we should have kept miles and traded harris..im sure colorado would have accepted either guy because uribe was kinda stagnent at coors and a 240 hitter in that park is like living with a 190 hitter in any other park...

earlier in the year this trade looked like a slam dunk for the sox...but miles is back in colorade with a vengence and both uribe and harris numbers are going south.. miles numbers in 216 at bats...3 -22 .324....only 22k's..but only 9 walks too this one could go back and forth for awhile ...

rowand would have not gotten to that ball hit by patterson in cf...no cf would have..the problem was for some reason we had timo in right center while we pitched patterson away..making it immposible for him to cover anything in the lc gap.... why rotate him to rc and pitch a lefty hitter away???..thats what screwed that up timo might not be a good CF but neither is rowand...we do not have a legit CF on the roster...rowand was a left fielder throughout his minor league career...that's one reason why a jones / ortiz for ordonez trade might not be a bad idea...we would have an outfield of lee , jones and timo/rowand from left to right...all 4 of those guys would then be playing their natural positions

his natural position is first base and he is suppose to be a very good defensive 1st baseman...i dont know why ozzie doesnt use him in late innings of close games when we have the lead...he has much more range than konehead

we should give him his props though...20rbi in 94 at bats from a bench player is about as clutch as it gets...it means he has stayed pretty consistant all year long despite very limited playing time...remember last year how much brian daubach struggled trying to adjust to playing part time??...its not an easy job
