that wasnt the first time carlos' lackadasical attitude has cost the sox..remember earlier in the year he is leading off of 2nd base and after the pitch the catcher throws back to 2nd and carlos didnt even see it..he is standing the same spot of his secondary lead while the 2nd baseman has the ball.. this kind of stuff is pretty much common place with carlos..and its not like his homer went 20 rows deep...it barely cleared the wall...if ford brought that ball back into play there is a good chance carlos would have been thrown out at 2nd again waiting until carlos screws up again and gets thrown out at 2nd is kinda counterproductive dont you think??...i hope ozzie says something to him...

it does matter steff...this girl had sex with 2 guys in one night..kissed a 3rd and then came back for more...there are 12 people sitting on the jury who know nothing at all about all the people involved...you really think they arnt going to look differently at the girl after they find out she was doing two of them at the same time??? because she already had sex with them the defense that she wanted to do this does hold some merit..maybe the girl did consent to this then afterwards thought of the reprecussions and maybe her family seeing this video tape and then panicked and said she was drugged and rapped...her behavior the night before makes it easier for the jury to come to a conclussion that its not that much of a stretch for this girl to do this if the night before she was already willing sleeping with two of the defendants i dont know how you can be so sure that it was rape...im not sure what to make of this case because i havent seen all the evidence...obviously there was enough conflicting evisdence to deadlock a jury..but from i have seen it looks to me like all 4 really need some kind of counseling cause they all are pretty much morally bankrupt...

shoe just might be reacting to what for him is bad news...cant blame a guy for being competitive and wanting to be a starter...i expect it to come out soon that shoe is fine with going to the pen..after he has time to cool off and if he still feels this way then you look to move him if the deal can make the sox a better team....if not..well he has to suffer...probably in a lessor role than he would have had if he came to his senses...

cleveland is playing good ball and if we remember back to last year detroit , who lost 120 games beat us 8 times...be careful what you wish for...the sox seem to play better ball against the better teams...

in seattle freddy probably felt he had to be perfect to even have a chance at winning..here heknows if he gives up a 3 run dinger he still gets the W...as time goes on and he settles in i think he will realize he doesnt have to be perfect and this should make him more agressive in going after hitters...
