White Sox win draft lottery, will pick #1 in 2026
It's not a verizon issue, I'm on ATT and occasionally when I open a thread, I get a "Site error" message, and then it automatically tries to refresh the page and then it loads correctly after that. It happens on Chrome, Opera, and Brave on Android I don't have this problem on my desktop browsers

Schultz fastball seems like it's got a really low whiff rate no matter who he's facing

Edgar Quero, the #TapToChallenge GOAT
Quero has challenged a ton of pitches this year and lost (close just borderline, and clear whiffs) But Tap To Challenge has a ranking system that evaluates each player in the league and calculates their effect on the game based on which pitches they do and don't challenge and when in the game they happen And would you believe it, Edgar Quero is the GOAT so far in 2026 in: WPA (Win Probability Added): The change in the challenging team's win probability due to the challenge. Net RE (Run Expectancy): The change in expected runs for the challenging team due to the result of the challenge. This website is fascinating and might open your eyes into how a challenged pitch hurts or helps the team, and volume of challenges looks like it might be beneficial overall rather than just holding onto your challenges/never using them like some teams are doing. Measuring ABS Decision QualityEvaluating each pitch based on its likelihood to be challenged gives us insight into who is tapping at the right time

White Sox win draft lottery, will pick #1 in 2026
I'm slowly beginning to buy into the logic that the Sox go with Emerson instead of Roch, if only because there's nowhere for Roch to play right now and Emerson isn't expected to move through the system as quickly which gives the Sox more time to sort out who they wanna consider the core If they draft Roch, they would need to DFA Benintendi this year/next year, which would open up a rotating DH, which lets you move Vargas/Colson/Mune/Meidroth/Roch around the infield and still keep all of their bats in the lineup. But apparently Benintendi and Mune share the same agent and would this sour their relationship with the agent and hurt their chances of extending Murakami? or the first man out would move to the bench (Meidroth) which opens up 2B for Roch because I don't think they're moving Colson or Roch to 3B the way Vargas is playing, that could all change. I'm basing my opinion on the current guys performing continue to rake and Murakami gets extended god forbid they cut Murakami loose after 2027 (what a huge loss for the franchise and the culture of the team), but that would allow you to move Vargas to 1B and you can figure out between Roch and Colson who goes to 3B and Meidroth sticks around or Antonacci maybe gets moved back to his original position Basically if they draft Roch, they're gonna have to make some tough decisions in the next 6 to 12 months and someones gonna be off the team or on the bench
