That's a great point. If you watched the 1st half of the Giants game he was running all over. Back to back plays he ran quickly and gained 1st downs. A blitz came from his left, the guy came in unblocked and Vick quickly rolled out to his right and ran up the field for a 1st down. The very next play he looked at his 1st option, maybe his 2nd, and ran up the middle for another 1st down. Vick's athleticism allows for him to make up for his lack of accuracy and lack of weapons.

Probably, but Manning has more pieces than Vick, at least on offense.

I thought all McCants does is dunk. -
Brian Urlacher's arm is a bit too small, lol.

Falcons 02 with Vick 8-5-1 (1-1 without) and first team to win in GB in playoffs, divisional round of playoffs. Falcons 03 without Vick 2-10 Falcons 03 with Vick 3-1 (including a win over Carolina) Falcons 04 with Vick 8-2 He is one of the most valuable players in the league. If the Falcons finish with the best record in the NFC this season he should get MVP.

The refs make up a rule to have Texas tie the game. That is the worst rule of all time. A & M should protest this game. This game is football 101: how not to convert an extra point. One has been blocked, one has been missed, and one has had a bad hold. What happened on the bs play was that there was a bad hold on a Texas extra point. The kicker kicked the ball, but obviously he couldn't make it. The ball barely got off the ground. A & M recovered it in the end zone and the refs call it a one point safety. That's embarrasing for football. I'm now rooting for A & M because of that bull. -
That may be true, but Boise St. has proven over the years that they have a very good program. I think they could hang with any team in the 6-15 range. They are ranked where they belong.
-
The tough thing is I want to see Boise and Utah play each other on a big stage because it would be cool to see 2 mid major undefeated teams go at it. However, both teams need to prove themselves against BCS conference opposition.

I was at that game! Yeah, these plays suck ass. Not voting.

Healthy enough to stuff down the meal. Gotta love pumpkin pie. Hope everyone loved their own Thanksgiving dinner as much as I did.
-
Haha, I so called it. The Bears suck, not that it was much to call. You may win championships with defense, but that is assuming your offense can score a point. Jason, MOS, and co. what happened?

Either that or food poisoning. It's basically the same thing at this point anyway. I think it's the flu, my mom thinks it's food poisoning because I don't have any other symptoms. I haven't eaten anything weird though. Of all days...plus if I was sick I could have at least gotten off of school a day or 2, but no, it has to happen over a designated off day and on Thanksgiving.

I'm sick today. This. f***ing. Sucks.

From the NU game this year he stuck out. He is definitely a stud.
-
Yeah, but Cheat's point was that is only because Randle El had to play QB. God he was sick in college. There was always that wildcard of him and that option offense, despite the Indiana on the schedule.

Which is the most dramatic ending to a game?

I don't hate Crede at all. -
Well I got 8 of the guys right, which is ok. The only guy I correctly placed was Anderson, that's bad. SoxAce correctly predicted 9 of the top 10, that was best. Nobody correctly placed more than 3 right. Nobody had Tracey higher than 8. Overall, Tracey at 5 is simply poor research. There is no way, in my mind, that he can be that high. That's ridiculous. I'm a little surprised by Lopez making the list as well. I'm sure age was a major factor in his selection. Overall our minors suck.

They had UNC (bowl game), UTEP (ranked), and Iowa St. (possible Big 12 title game appearance) on the 'waiting list' of the preseason poll. UNC was even #10 after week 2. -

Walk off HRs are the best when it's for your team, but in general any buzzer-beater gets me excited. -
The 1st team and 2nd team LBs in both lists are all returning. Tim McGarigle is sick.
-
This is conditional that they keep their current young core (Hinrich, Deng, Nocioni, Gordon I guess). I think Pax will get it done. Watching this team everyday is frustrating and encouraging. The reason they lose is because they make so many rookie mistakes. You figure 2 years from now those will be gone.
-
Not until the end of the offseason for sure. Maybe sometime around the start of Spring Training so we can prep for the start of the league. I figured I'd make a preliminary list and if something happens to one of them that devalues them, then I'll make a switch.
-
They have major talent, something they haven't had since MJ. Deng, Hinrich, Nocioni are all good NBA players. Curry and Chandler are becoming decent. With experience this team will be good. It's hard to win with 6 rookies. I play playoffs in 2 years.
