Well in 50 rounds we are sure to pick quite a few outfielders, but I hope we don't pick any in the early rounds unless we have the intent on trading some of the guys currently in our system. I say the guys in our system because I don't like the idea of giving up on a guy before he plays a full season.
SNPP to the rescue! Radioactive Man
Bart walks through the shooting area and sees a script coach with
Rainier.
Coach: Up and atom!
Rainier: Up and at them!
Coach: Up and atom!
Rainier: Up and at them!
Coach: [annoyed] Up and atom!
Rainier: [louder] Up and at them!
Coach: [covers his eyes] Better.
'Up and at them' was the joke, 'up and atom' was what he was supposed to say. I win.
Fabio Castro is a 19 year-old that was very good with Bristol last season out of the bullpen. He had a 1.72 ERA with 59 Ks and 19 BBs in 47 IP. He got called up to Kannapolis for a couple starts last season and posted a 3.27 ERA in those 2 starts with 16 Ks in 11 IP. He has the stuff to be a stud reliever and his early numbers tend to agree with that.
It's 7-3. Koch has looked good. There is nothing to be worried about. He had a throwing error to 1st and gave up a groundball base hit. When he starts walking guys and giving up doubles, then you can nervous. 2-2 to Matsui, I'm calm.
